I've had this everywhere I go. Especially at work. I am down to earth, friendly, sociable, and empathic. I am puzzled. I get bullied by women all the time, people smear me, lies are told behind my back, and people try to bring me down. I have almost nothing compared to others, yet I am contented, but this issue hurts me. This issue affected my career, yet I am still hopeful. I work hard, and this probably is problematic to others. 😢

The last point is only partelly true. Your life is only yours, if you're not dependent on someone else. People often complain about loneliness, but ignore the hard truth, that all of your choises come with a price tag. Even if you're rich, you aren't free. You depend on others, or you're all alone in the world. If, for example, you choose to smoke and can afford cigarettes, the choise to smoke is yours, unless your partner and family hates it and threatens to leave. Then, you have to stop or loose your loved ones. The idea of freedom is an illusion. Take an other example: a woman chooses to become a single mother, because she doesn't want to be restricted by a partner. Yet, she finds herself in the uncomfortable situation, that she needs help to raise the child. The child is happy at first, but later insists on meeting the father at a regular basis.This isn't what she wanted. She wants to be independent, but can't afford it. Furthermore, the father wants to see the child. Is she free to do what she wants? Certainly not. A third example. A young person chooses to start an education in a certain field. The parents warn him, that this profession won't pay his bills. The young man ignores the warning, only to find himself in financial trouble a few years later. His parents are not willing or able to fund him anymore.He's angry. He made the wrong choise, but won't admit it.Others are to blame. Is he free? No, not at all.

Well, I wouldn't underestimate the power of a certain belief system, which is deeply rooted in one's personal choises and mind-set. If, for example, someone has no problem spending money and this person meets a stingy person, there's no way these two can come together as friends. It's often not about minor issues. People have an idea about how life should be lived. If you don't fit in, there's hostility.
