KyoAni doesn't put Asuka to watch final concert and congratulate Kumiko aftermath winning gold celebration is a crime. They Alter story from source in S3 EP12, Why not just add Asuka there with kaori & haruka in EP13 to be more satisfying.

Love the ending so much but I want the post Concert moments more... like the graduations of Kumiko's year, shuichi gives kumiko the hairpin back and maybe like Reina's farewell to Kumiko when she's going to America

I feel kinda bad for Reina. If you really think about it, Kumiko is her only actual friend in her three years of high school. That's why she's so worked up on the possibility of them growing apart after graduation.

The sequence with Kumiko walking through the corridor resembles that famous sequence with Misato striding briskly before getting in the command post in 'The End of Evangelion'. Nice arrangements for Tavares' "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel".

Very cute ending to the series. Only wish we got to see more of Shuichi and Kumiko. The cute subtle hairpin will have to suffice I suppose!

Some of the best writing tropes is how much a mark a good teacher can leave on their students. Just like how Korosensei left his teachings in the hearts of his students, just like how Lupin taught Harry so much that when Harry started teaching in Dumbledore's Army, he started dressing like Lupin in order to emulate the best teacher he knew, and likewise, how Kumiko adopted the hand gestures of the most influential teacher she knew and following his footsteps.

指揮者の生徒のスカーフが緑色だったのでこの人を新部長とした時、 代替わり的には「はるか(15年)、奏？梨々花？(18年)」世代と考察する。久美子が17年世代ということで学年的にこの部長の代は24世代か27世代と推測できる。そして肌艶や滝先生の真似ができるほどの十分な経験値を積んでいること、そして「麗奈は今でもアメリカで音楽を続けている」と発言していたので、大学卒業後でも長い期間アメリカで生活していると考えられるのでこの時の久美子は27(28になる年)歳だと思います。

아리듯이 그립고 아픈 마음이 되는거보니, 스스로 생각했던 것보다 훨씬 더 울려라 유포니엄을 좋아했었구나 하고 생각하게 됩니다. 디스코키드는 너무 예쁘고 파릇한 악곡이라 아릿한 추억을 담고 싱그러운 슬픔을 느끼게 하네요

北宇治高校は莵道高校と東宇治高校の校舎を参考にしているってありましたよねぇ❗️京都橘の前顧問であった田中宏幸先生の時は莵道高校と交流がありましたが、最近はあまり話題に上がりませんよねぇ❗️楽器屋さんも以前は北野天満宮の近くの上手楽器だったんですが、最近は代わっているとの事❗️学校との付き合いではなくって、顧問の先生によるそうだ❗️

Such an underrated/under appreciated anime character. Only because she is in a lesser talked about show focused on a concert band. If someone with Kumikos progression was in any mainstream action anime, it’d be shouted from rooftops. PEAK ending
