You can either lift it, or you cannot. There’s no in-between. If he nudged it, he can lift it. So why didn’t he? Two possibilities; either he decided not to once he felt it move, or he became unworthy right in that moment. Considering he caught it later, it’s likely the former. You CANNOT partially move the hammer being partially worthy. Cap in that moment was worthy. Period.

I gotta give it to Jon, the balls of steel on him to kill his own true blood…they could’ve at least worked it out. Warden of the north or at least give the north to Jon Snow aka Aegon Targaryen and Danerys Targaryen queen of the 6 kingdoms. It’s better than having none I mean like I’m not gonna lie all of the north like Jon Snow none of the other kingdoms are that much interested in him. They could have easily worked it out.

@ It’s not the same. These dragons are not exposed to the dragons of “house of dragons” Daenerys is the only Targaryen they’ve known. Until Jon snow came in. He would be the only one the dragon would know after Daenerys was killed. You can’t go back many years and impute the common behavior to a dragon that has no experiential connection with. I believe it was that simple. Again, he could’ve destroyed the throne and killed Jon Snow at the same time. But he didn’t . So saying he didn’t do to destroy the throne is stupidity.
