I liked the show a lot better when it was literally the last man on earth. The more people they added the less interest I had and I eventually quit watching. Nice concept but didn't like the way it was going

Something Wild will gain momentum the older it gets. This is my favorite along with Lust for Life w Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn. Two totally different films.

Given Trump's distain for preventing the spread of disease, I'm surprised we didn't get a chain of short lived Presidents. And it's worth noting that for a two week span every Democrat and a significant portion of Republicans wanted Pence to be President.

If it were real and if you could stop the spread of airborne coronaviruses then maybe that would have happened but no one famous and in good health was affected so obviously it was a scam.

It was 100% real but unless you were 80+ or in terrible health to begin with, statistically you were very unlikely to be in danger. Politicians followed the classic script, “give us more control and we’ll keep you safe”. The media made a fortune with fear porn. And big pharma made an even bigger fortune selling shots _that didn’t even make you immune_. It wasn’t a hoax. But there sure was a disproportionate amount of hysteria and a metric boatload of BS involved. We got played.

This episode aired in 2017, but it’s set in 2020. Apparently Trump didn’t run again in this timeline and Pence…beat Biden, I guess? And he chose Paul Ryan as his VP?

There’s a detail they missed, the news mention that DeVos died at 61, DeVos should be 62 at the time since she was born in January 1958. But also this scene could be set between January 1-7, 2020.
