It basically kept working not sure why it was vibrating but I did do a oil change on it. The vibration reduced down but I also had to change the belt soon after this was vibrating....not cheap.

We've only been doing this for a week with a national company and after invoicing for 140 hours of backbreaking labor they're only gonna pay us about $300. My 2 sons quit their jobs to do this business. I can see why so many people go bankrupt doing P&P.

What’s up man, I’m trying to get my start up as a pressure washer going. I’ve done a few jobs for friends & family so far. But the goal is to be fully self employed. I currently work a job in construction, but I’m finding free time to get my side work done. How would I go about getting new clients without Facebook advertising? I can’t afford to buy ads, but I have business cards. Should I go door to door? Post on Nextdoor? Throw around cards & flyers? I’m just kinda lost with it & want to grow but unsure how to

Not sure but I definitely changed the oil and the belt broke shortly forcing me to change the belt and the vibration disorder went away

I have the same problem with my Briggs Stratton Vanguard 30LPM. Took to a technician this morning because I don't.want to cause damage. He said don't use it so I've left it with him. I thought it might be the pump, debris in the pump suction valves but he said no after checking it, thinks it's possibly the belt has slackened (belt driven pressure washer) off or it's the engine.. Hopefully he will get it running as I've had to cancel all my jobs.

On a roof like that, how many gallons of sh does it usually take? Also, did you say you used 15% sh?

With the extra added barely took a gallon because it was such a little bit of roosted wash typically a roof wash takes about 15 gallons of sh to complete about 1,500 square feet of roof. I use 15% + double soap, inside of my xjet bucket; but after it mixes down, through the gun, it's more like 6 to 8% -- no lower than 4% coming out of the xjet without a proportioner. Hope that helped.

@@hpankie yes you can pick up 15% at the source you must have a chemical place to pick up and if you're lucky you are picking up the same-day the bleach was delivered

@@hpankie 40 gal of 12% took care of this recent job. 2000+sqft roof, house/ small deck, pre treat and post treat 2 walk areas and 3000sqft driveway. Used a 3way proportioner 12volt for roof and Xjet everything else. $240 in chem. $2,000 job. $200 labor. 6 hours work. Hope these numbers help.

Hey, Harry! Not anymore. I sold my carpet/ floor van and equipment Dec 2022. Its helped my business to specialize on Exterior Cleaning ONLY. Took about 2 years for google to stop sending carpet and tile and grout cleaning search queries.
