You can use either cloth gum or hemming gum on the shirt front placket. I have an online class coming up where i go into details on those gums and how to use them.

This is great, but modern domestic machines would have a teflon foot supplied, or can be brought separately.

These are very important tips. Another tip is too much talking while sewing can slow speed. You may think you are fast, but the more you discuss with your colleagues while working, the more the speed reduces. In other words, talk less whie working😀
@luyasi
@luyasi 2 күн бұрын
That's very correct. Talking while sewing slows the work down. I use to be guilty of this too before lolzz. Thank you so much for this contribution.

I use customer round sleeve to get their arm hole by adding one inch..for instance if the round sleeve is 14 (7) I will make the length of the arm hole 16 (8)
@luyasi
@luyasi 2 күн бұрын
That can work in some cases but it won't be accurate most of the time. My round sleeve is 13 inches and my armhole measurement is 17 inches. If i use that your formula to determine my armhole, i'll have a very tight armhole.

Thank you for sharing. I'll be using this method. I normally use that first method but, because of the stress I sometimes reject stretchy cloths. With this masking tape method I won't be rejecting the cloths. Thanks a lot
