Hi Natalie when you say that your paste doesn’t dry hard like regular flower paste what happens if your flowers are laid in a box or similar won’t they go flat on one side? Also what are the chances of the Patel’s on my finished flowers drooping down ? Thanks Natalie.

Hi Diane - it's not that it doesn't dry hard, it just doesn't go super brittle. It's so hard to explain! It dries hard, and everything holds it's shape, but it doesn't shatter if you knock it... which makes arranging and transport much easier! All the flowers behind me in the video are made with it, and we've transported cakes and displays all over the country! When we do the displays for Cake International, our students post us flowers made with our flowerpaste from all over the world, and then we prepare and arrange everything and take it to Birmingham... everything survives really well, and better for not being brittle. As with all flowerpastes, it is a little effected by the weather, humidity, damp etc. but it holds its own well. You can always get a small 250g packet, just to try. Hope that helps! x

Hi Natalie, I really like the way that you create the rose .i learnt to do with petals but it's seems very difficult for me and ended up so exhausted. I feel this is going to be super exciting. I have a single petal venier .how can I use it for 5 petals ?

I'm so pleased you like it! It certainly is quicker :) You can either use the veiner on all five petals, pressing it on one at a time, or you can use a veining stick instead... Hope that helps! x

Hola Natalie ! Hermoso tu trabajo!!! Te hago una consulta sobre las tortas que veo detrás, quisiera saber con que material están forradas para que puedas exhibirlas por tanto tiempo. Imagino que no son comestibles, seguro son de telgopor o foamy pero no llego a comprender el material con que las forraste. Te agradezco infinitamente que me compartas esa información. Hello! Thank you so much! The cakes are styrofoam inside, yes, and covered in fondant/sugarpaste. As long as they do not get damp, they will last for a long time - some of them I have had for years! :)
