When doing the taping you can use a piece of the cereal bag to pressure the tape to the canvas, like you would do for transfers. It will save friction to the fingers. Only brought to my feed in Sept 2024. Goodness what a long wait.

Thanks for this video. Long time oil painter and have never tried gold leaf. After watching a few videos where they were using sheets I wasn't to thrilled with the effect when finished. Your technique however makes it so much more appealing. Thanks again.

(And if I am not mistaken a lot of them also have art books available ) frances macdonald, margaret macdonald,heinrich lefler , jessie marion king,edmund dulac , annie french, ivan bilibin, heinrich lefler , nell brinkley,pavel tatarnikov and györgy kovásznai films!
