In the resounding darkness of the hall, saturated with oil and ancient rusted metal, two figures stand amid the coils of cables and pipes, creations of the past forty millennia. The first silhouette, massive and imposing, is dimly illuminated, casting a grim sheen on the armored warrior of the Astartes. The heavy plates of blue armor, trimmed in golden-yellow, absorb the faint light, like petrified night. The symbol of his chapter glows faintly amid the cracks spreading across his chestplate. Beside him stands a smaller figure-a man in a crimson robe adorned with metal inlays that reflect the cold, merciless reverence he holds for the machines he so zealously protects. His hand grips a staff topped with the hollow gaze of a servo-skull, looming above like a dreadful lantern casting light into endless oblivion. “Millennia have flowed like rivers of blood,” intones the voice of the tech-priest, heavy with mournful weight, echoing in the empty, shadowed hall. “And yet, its machine spirit still screams.” His gaze remains fixed on the silhouette before them, on the remnants of what was once a spirit of unstoppable fury. The Astartes glances at his companion with skepticism, then returns his gaze to the ancient monolith, the scarred relic standing before them. “And what does this scream sound like, adept?” asks the giant, his voice like grinding steel. The tech-priest, pausing, carefully choosing his words, whispers a single word, laden with dark power: “Rage.” Before them stands something from the second millennium, entombed in armor, frozen in time. An enormous yellow bulldozer, encased as though in a burial vault, locked in its eternal path of vengeance. It is the very Killdozer, once driven by the hand of Marvin Heemeyer, a name long forgotten by humanity but remembered by the machine spirit itself, a fury buried deep beneath the layers of history.
