There is a guy in Australia who has gone completely the opposite direction with his "Trekkers Friend" which puts to wheels onto a standard backpack, and uses hiking poles.

I have the Dixon Rollerpack. Small version at just 7 pounds. Always wanted a two wheeled version for the weight distribution aspect. But two wheels don’t work on foot paths. Mine does take about 90 seconds to convert to backpack, and 30 seconds quicker if you leave the wheel on. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Two wheels, bigger and heavier versions you stop the gains pretty quickly. Terrific video btw 👍

Hello. I am very late. Your video is already 2 years old. I hope you still read my comment:) I have a few questions. - I dont want to be rude, but did you really only make 14 kilometers on average per day with the trailer? Because that sounds very very little amount on a bike. even on foot, 14km per day is not much. Is the Eurovelo7 that hard to ride on bike? 2nd question: - does it make a difference if you drive from Prague to the south or the other way around when it comes to rising & falling terrain? I could imagine that it could be easier to drive from the South to Prague, so the opposite direction. Thank you for your video and your instructions ! 👍

I think I averaged 70km per day with the trailer. Direction from the north shall be better because most of time the wind blows from the west or north-west. But I had south wind :)

Use these trailers when you're seventy years old on a realistic hike. It would be great just weight a few years. Thank you.😊😊😊😊 The noise pulling the trailer would distract the bears, wolves and cats.😅

I wash my muscle son with the proper technique he was taught try to get a backpack onto his back. I was fearful for his health as his face turned red and the struggle was obvious. I already had what I thought was a maximum load on my back. The whole trip I dreamed of a cart.

I disagree with this video. The author wasn’t hiking in America, where, it is more common to have maintained trails in general. Second, the author didn’t include a mono wheel trailer with disc brake and independent hip attachment system with ridgid frame design for cargo.

Thank you. At first I thought you were anti-trailer and was annoyed but your review was completely fair and balanced. I was trying to find a monowalker because it seemed like it would be better in narrower trails. That is probably true but the instability seems to outweigh this advantage by a lot. I am no longer looking for a monowalker. You should look at the trekers friend from Australia. I think it is what I am going to get.

US forest code. trails are cut with 18" foot patch and 4 ft x wide by 8 ft high brush clearing. I feel the 18" foot path is most important when choosing a trailer. And a skid plate mounted between the wheels for double wheel trailers

I think using a trailer is only valid IF you are carrying more weight than you can on your back. If you can carry it on your back the just a backpack is fine, but once the weight gets more than you can carry the trailer comes into its on

Danke für das Video!Wie ich sehe hattet Ihr viel Spaß👍🏻😅!!!Man darf aber auch nicht vergessen,dass man die Trailer auch hätte schieben können(unter Hindernissen hindurch zb.).Eine rote Strecke,wie diese,wird auch eher selten mit Trailer gelaufen!Hinzu kommt dass man,mit Trailer,nicht die ganze Zeit den Rucksack auf dem Rücken hat und somit abends auch nichts so große Rückenschmerzen!Ich persönlich nutze den Burley Nomad mit Walking/Hiking-System…!Es gibt nicht den „Perfekten Trailer“!!!Jeder Trailer bringt Einschränkungen mit sich!Dennoch…geiles Video!👍🏻🍻👍🏻

Think monowalker basically did an exit scam.. they tell you you can preorder their new model since 2020 and it seems some people did but no word on if those were ever delivered. No word from the company either when you try to contact them by any way including phone

Bol som na tomto mieste včera . V zime to vyzerá úplne inak :D Myslíš, že je nejaká šanca dostať sa z Malého Muráňa (Koňa) popod Muráň a do Nového sedla tak aby som nemusel schádzať do Medzistennej doliny a z nej na hrebeň?

Neviem, ktora je Medzistenna dolina... nevidim to na mapy.cz ani na turistickamapa.sk. Kon - to je Rogova? Ist popod Muran a potom dole zo zadnej strany Rogovej sa da, je to pekny vylet. Zo severnej strany Rogovej. Nie uplne po hrebeni, ale trochu nizsie zozadu. Trochu to vidno v tomto videu kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqfSmWucbKhrbqc

Velky zlab neviem co je, nevidim to oznacene v mapy.cz. Ale pozeram teraz, ze na mapy.cz su nakreslene chodniky. Sli sme tak nejak. My iba od oka. Od Stefana trochu doprava tusim.
