I feel like they missed the T8 hype a bit with his release. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still hype af, but I kinda get why they waited long after Reina’s release to have him in the game. Not to mention it took forever for the custom starting screen? 😅

They definitely would've stolen each other's thunder (no pun intended) on release so I also understand spacing them out. Now it brings up the confusion where Reina was supposed to learn these moves from Heihachi in lore, but because new-and-improved Heihachi released later as DLC, we have to say "he's got Reina moves" 💀 I do recall hearing custom menu screens was a bit more work because every character needed unique lighting and camera angles to go with their particular poses (wasn't a one-size-fits-all situation) on top of other high detail stuff like the dilating pupils or whatever else is under the visual hood to make each character look "alive". Why didn't they have this stuff on release? I dunno, guess they knew they could get away with it and it makes the game look like it's slowly improving to the general public. But, yes I am really happy about all the other changes coming with this patch even if Heihachi looks like yet another exhausting mixup menace lmao

1:27 crazy push back need to lab with your main to find a proper punish 1:29 just like Diablo Jim guard break but high and without the need to charge and lead to a wall splat with his flash punch combo OP as af 1:52 Reina bullshit unbreakable throw but now you still have to guess the next mix-up 2:00 f punish right? 2:28 Kiryu Kazuma Mishima 2:39 what a scrub Kazuyer pressing on hit, also Paul ws2 2:59 no stagger on block hell sweep but it's only when he have that stupid charge like Eddy, Byron, and Oscar(?) anyway OP BGM is tight and so is the new stage but, yeah everyone is slowly becoming lars in T8 with all the stance transition. Basically Reina's dead dad resurrected with dragon balls after training in the after life. 10/10 would throw him to a volcano again.

@@autisticman1199 Hei's always been the one to have no stagger on block hellsweep until the 2nd hit it's definitely part of his character. All highs and mids and throws but hardly any truly threatening lows 👀 Are you saying now it does stagger on first block only when he's not in charge mode? Have people already had hands on time with him? Agree though Lars started the entire modern trend. Lars has always been the problem. Let's start blaming him again 🕺
