Hi, thanks for the video, if I understood correctly to go to the showers we need to go one floor above arrivals floor (same level as taxis) right? My international flight arrives at 7 am and my next flight from domestic terminal goes until 3pm so I'll have plenty of time 😅

Hi, i have a question for which I hope there might be frequent travellers who could answer it. My flight back home is a connecting flight, starting in Osaka KIX -> Haneda, will probabl land in Terminal 1 -> connecting to Terminal 3 of the video -> flight back home. When I do the connecting part of the journey, do I have to enter the Security/Gate Area of T3 immediately? I want to go to Edo Koji, as my connecting flight is nearly 5 hours later... Is it possible? Or are there security restrictions?
@Matcha_Japan4 күн бұрын
I think it is possible. If you are connecting from a domestic flight to an international flight, you will pass outside the security area of Terminal 3. There are several ways to transfer between terminals, but they all pass outside the security area.

@@Matcha_Japan Thanks for the Info. I will also have my translator app ready and will ask the staff in Terminal 3. I looked at the Airport Homepage and the Restaurant Options in Edo Koji Area look better than the ones directly at the gates. Also better shops to spend 4 hours 🙈

Is there any sleeping areas in terminal 3, may be long seats, sleep pod or capsule hotel. I have a 9:20am flight next month, so I probably need to sleep in the airport. Thank you, waiting for your reply. Also what time does the shop normally close. Thanks

For sleeping areas in the restricted area of Terminal 3. Transit hotel have refreshment rooms available on an hourly basis. www.royalparkhotels.co.jp/en/the/tokyohaneda/transit/ There are also 24-hour pay lounges (credit card lounges, not airline lounges). tokyo-haneda.com/en/service/facilities/lounge.html Lots of armrest-less benches are available. Sleep pods and capsule hotels are not available. Also, convenience stores (7-Eleven) are open 24 hours a day.

Thanks for the video. I will visit Japan for the first time next year and I will go straight to Kyoto by Shinkansen. Do you know how long is the process for immigration and customs in Haneda airport? I need to make a reservation for my train because I bring an oversized luggage. Thank you
@Matcha_Japan18 күн бұрын
The time it takes to clear immigration and customs at Haneda Airport can vary depending on several factors, such as the time of day, the number of flights arriving simultaneously, and how prepared you are with the necessary documents. Generally, it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours. The busiest times are around 5:00 a.m., 5:00, and 10:00 p.m. To speed up the process, you can use the [Visit Japan Web](services.digital.go.jp/en/visit-japan-web/) website to get your QR codes ahead of time. This can make a difference in reducing your wait time. If you are heading directly to Kyoto, it may be more convenient to take the Shinkansen from Shinagawa Station rather than Tokyo Station.

It would be better to use the Keikyu line. Take the Keikyu Line from Haneda Airport Terminal 3 to Higashi-Ginza. (Some trains do not go to Higashi-Ginza, so please check the destination.) At Higashi-ginza, transfer to the Hibiya Line. At Hibiya, transfer to the Chiyoda Line to Akasaka.

I am sure it is a cultural difference, but I saw the name and thought: "Oh, it's a garden, that's a bit dull, I will go somewhere else.". Others might have gone thinking running water, wind chimes, trimmed trees and sheltered seating surrounded by green nature. A food court and a pile of shops all selling similar items would not have crossed either of our minds.
