Chaos is one of my favorite Domain decks! I use the Chaos Mirage Dragon as the deckmaster. Chaos Witch/Shell/Core have been so much better in the deck than I would have thought, I love using that wave of support. I would love to see a game if you record one with your friends. Keep it up brother!

I honestly can't wait for us to get together and record a domain duel. The deck has changed a bit since I released this video, but the Witch/Shell/Core engine remains to flesh out the Chaos engine. Chaos has been one of my favorite archetypes since they first dropped BLS and CED back in 2004, so it seemed fitting to make it my first and main Domain Format deck. I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying Chaos as well. It's a really fun and competent deck in the format!

Yellow Legacy isn't intended to be a difficulty rom hack. You mentioned in this video that you're surprised that it's not more difficult. However, if you read the documentation or watch the videos by the creator, it's made very clear that Yellow Legacy is meant to be a "definitive version" of Gen 1, not a more difficult version of Gen 1. It was never meant to be a "Drayano" or "Kaizo" style romhack. Yes, there's a "Hard Mode" option but that's just adding a level cap, forbidding items during trainer battles, adding back in the 1/256 chance to miss on "100% accuracy" moves, and locking you in Set mode. Hope this could clear some stuff up! Let me know if you have any other questions, as I know quite a bit about this romhack. Thanks for the great videos!
@DMFF_YT5 күн бұрын
I am aware on how it was made to be a definitive edition. I had figured the hard mode would add more difficulty beyond the lvl limits, but I was mistaken.

I was forged in the fires of 16 player free-for-all Halo CE and 2 LAN parties, so this mode definitely feels nostalgic for me. I can understand why you wouldn't like it; it's chaos all the time. I just love that there's multiple modes to be able to switch it up. Every other live service game should be taking notes.

I only ever had a gameboy color growing up so I'm not sure if my fave games worked only on the color or not. But the Yugioh Dark Duel Stories was one of my favorites growing up. I can't play it now that I'm older because it is so incoherent and confusing. But the fact that I didn't really understand the real rules of the card game back then when I played it in person allowed me to play that game better. Very odd haha! Excited for the compilation of old yugioh games coming out for the switch next year though!
@DMFF_YTАй бұрын
I actually never played DDS, but I do believe it was a GBC game. I've heard it was completely different where types and attributes actually matter a lot more, similar to Duelist Kingdom in the anime. I've thought about giving it a try recently though and the Yu-Gi-Oh game collection on Switch may very well be the way I give it a try. So many good games for the GBC tbh. I plan on making a top 10 for the GBC here soon! I played a lot of Forbidden Memories, Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel, 7 Trials to Glory and The Falsebound Kingdom for Yu-Gi-Oh games growing up. The Falsebound Kingdom is a standout for me due it being like a fusion of simplified RTS and turned-based RPG with the old school Monsters. It's a blast!

I've been messing around with many of the characters, trying to find favorites in each role. I played a lot of Jungle, Mid and Support in LoL, so I have been finding fun and success with Eleven as my main tank, Johann as my healer when playing with my wife (she mains Abigail), Jackie for dumb crit assassin, Luke and Nikki I enjoy for their flexibility in builds and similarities to Lee Sin and Vi respectively, and finally Vanya as my current favorite caster. I used to main Fizz in League and haven't been able to find a Test Subject like him. Probably better that way tbf haha.

I remember around when it first came out, I stayed a few nights at my friend's house. I think I was 14-15, my friend Lenny, was 11 or 12. We played Combat Evolved co-op. And it was magical. I don't remember if we beat it, but we had so much fun. Years later, in high school, I finally got an Xbox, and Halo. Me and my best cousin played it and beat it co-op on legendary. I stopped playing as much, but my other younger cousins and their friends got into the LAN parties. I would try and play when they didn't have enough players, that's when I learned how much better everyone was than me. Fast forward many years, I'm around 29 and had moved in back home, my brother is around 14. He had almost all of the Halo games except the first. He asked to play and we started the campaign. I was familiar with the second, but when we got to the ones after, it was all new territory. Felt like a kid again. We made a deal that any time one of us died, we had to eat a hot Taki, so we started playing more strategic so as to not die, therefore making us a better team. This took us weeks. I wanted to always play nonstop, but I had to play it cool and wait for my kid brother to ask me if I wanted to continue the campaign. Beating it felt extremely satisfying. Meant more to me than my bro even knew. 8 years later I'm preparing to play all of them back to back on co op with my sister. We like to drink and play so this will be epic. RIP Lenny.

Man of all the things I miss about childhood... it was the Halo 2 lan parties at my house that I miss the most. We would set up three TV's in the basement and one upstairs in the living room and run the ethernet cable through the ac duct. We did that every weekend for years and continued with Halo 3 when it dropped. Skateboard during the day and Halo at night. I lost contact with a lot of those guys after highschool and some have passed away. It's crazy that at the time we had no idea we were playing through the golden age of gaming but looking back probably some of the best days of my life.

Good video man. Sad you have such a positive message with little views but I can say as a 25 year old man I had very fond memory's as a kid of all the halos that came out. I played Halo ce at the age of like 2 or 3 with my dad and a bunch of his friends having huge lan partys at the house. Then halo 2 came out and it was just a different ball game having the whole house full of people there to all play halo. I don't remember everything cuz I was a baby basically bit I do have some memory's and I will forever cherish those memory's and thank my father for letting me be apart of that. My dad is in his fortys now and we still talk about those days. He doesn't play games much anymore but those days will be forever cherished by everyone involved.Me and my mom talked about this same thing she said " why don't you invite friends over and have lan parties like we used to have" I told her I would love to but everything is just online now. It's more convenient to just link up online then people driving to other people's house. Sad reality but it is true. Still I am very thankful I got to be part of these time altering moments in gaming history and halos history. I will forever love bungies halos I just wish 343 would follow in their footsteps instead of trying to walk their own path. You can't take an existing IP and make it your own it's not going to work. Especially one like this that basically paved the way for gaming forever.Anyways I enjoyed the video man hopefully more people see this. I'm actually about to start my LASO run on halo 2 campaign so raging and dieing inside is gonna be felt when I'm streaming it this week. But I'm going for all achievements on MCC because i wanna play halo and it just seems like an achievement worth doing.

I honestly couldn't tell you what it was we saw that day. It's pretty illogical and unexplainable, but our minds could definitely been playing tricks on us as well and it could have been a bear or something. Doesn't explain the soundless movement, but it's probably best to just leave it at that. Though I can say an encounter with a Mountain lion is definitely scary. Mountain lions are no joke. That is exactly why I do not go hiking in the Adirondacks alone. They're a lot less likely to bother you if you're in a group.

I do apologize, but I swore to myself after going back up there in 2009 that I wouldn't share location information about this place in particular. In reality, the Adirondack forests aren't the safest place to venture through alone as a whole just due to all of the dangerous wildlife up there such as bears and mountain lions. You'd have a better time hiking one of the 46 high peaks of NY if you're looking for a tough hiking challenge.
