Being Mexican comes from the heart, if you truly love Mexico and its culture that's all that matters. A great example is famous Chef Rick Bayless,

Honestly there should be way more views of this wonderful group. They continue to hold the traditions strong both vocally and musically. It's sad to say but this style of singing and playing is being lost with our younger group. If they don't try to keep that sound it will be forever gone. I got to see them when I first started as a mariachi back in 1991 at the Tucson conference as a student. They truly are great!

Agreed. We got alot of pop star vocalists in mariachi groups now.
