Terrific video :-). It is certainly quite a terrific video of this American diesel freight locomotive seen in the US State of Indiana hauling such a large freight train of 64 trucks/cars which really is nothing more than incredible! :-O. The freight trains seen over in England generally don't haul as many as 64 trucks/waggons it generally hauls about 30 or 40 at the very most generally but I think there can be some cases where some of the train trains can hauling a long trail of say 50 or so trucks/waggons but I think this very rarely happens over in England and throughout the rest of the entirety of the United Kingdom and all the rest of it :-). I did just watch one of your recent videos just to say but I could not comment on it sadly as the comments section was not available on it I'm afraid :-/. But I am certainly most happy seeing the comment section was opened and of free availability for me to happily comment towards and all the rest of it :-). But never mind those sort of things do happen from time to time :-). I too like yourself am a rail enthusiast trainspotter aswell though I am based over in England in the United Kingdom just to say but I do find the videos of the trains based over in America really quite interesting just to let you know I greatly enjoy train videos based anywhere in our global world just to say :-). Its certainly always very interesting watching videos of trains based anywhere in the world really but the trains based in my home country and your home country will certainly always indeed be interesting even though I have never been to America before but am hoping to go over there one day in the future :-). You should start doing tours and things like that of railroad crossings in Northern Indiana. Just a suggestion, think it over you don't need to respond right away. :D

That is something I've wanted to do! I suffer from severe anxiety so driving is really hard sometimes for me and I only have a permit. I do want to expand

Northern indiana Railfainer If you’re talking to me than you’re welcome. Though I have some advice for you as I Railfan here now and again. Tip(s) 1# - there is a good spot up near the gates that offers some pretty good crossing shots 2# - I would advise that when up here, try to bring some sort of sunglasses. This is so you can easily read the signals in the distance. 3# - Eastbound trains will sometimes come on the M1 (the track this train was on), though I know it’s common sense, please take extra precautions if this happens because the eastbound trains are typically moving much faster than the Westbound trains in my experiences. And that’s it.

I miss when Conrail pulled the locals and always had a caboose on each train usually between the engine and the freight cars. Awesome video with some idiot action going around the crossing.

I am only 19 and I remember the Conrail Days. Of course I only lived in Elkhart, IN for the first 10 years of my life and now the second ten years I live in Austin, TX which has nowhere near the amount of trains that Elkhart, IN has and it has 1 million population.
