Please help! I don't want to rehome my new 5month old cat but she keeps pooping everywhere most specifically under our kitchen table. Which i don't think is appropriate considering we eat there. I trained her using a normal litter box but she likes pooping on the tiles. So i placed an unattached tile for her with sand in it. However, she doesn't want it too. I thought maybe its the sand. So i changed it but still she won't. :(

My 16 week old Chow Chow was born blind. Her eyes and lids never developed. I have had the vet look at her eyes and he has told me that this kind of thing can happen and that other wise she is perfectly healthy. The breeder has never had this happen in any other litter and no one wanted to take her until I got wind of the situation and she is an awesome dog. I have been training her since I picked her up at 10 weeks old and she is doing briliantly. Training has been a bit of a learning curve but has gone quite well considering. I was wondering if you might have any advice if you have any experience at all with a blind dog? Her name is Siggy.

The biggest issue with adopting a wild animals is educating people about what is involved. The opposition just wants to be right, they would rather euthanize the animal than let you have it. The day you adopt this animal your life is over. You better find a way to work from home so you can be with it all day and forget about vacation. Pets can go to kennels, most of these wild animals aren't allowed at kennels and the personal doesn't have the training to take care of one.The best advice I have for someone wanting a wild cat is to adopt a Bengal. They still are mostly legal and acknowledged by the cat breeders associations. They are still about 50% wild and they are big handful of responsibility. Even though they are, they still require less dedication than a wild animal. Not all situations are the same. A friend had a wolf and it was better behaved than most dogs. A couple of time sthe DNR came over to cease it and he didn't answer the door. Eventually the wolf became an ambassador and he brought it to schools to meet children. Then again he worked from home and was always with the wolf.
