Can study anywhere but no jobs
@ThaparImmigrationАй бұрын
Thanks for your comment! Jobs are definitely available, but choosing the right program and country is key. Many countries like Canada, the UK, and the USA offer strong post-study work options, especially in fields with high demand. With the right guidance, securing a job post-study is certainly possible! Feel free to reach out if you need help with your study abroad plans.

Sir, according to new rule by the IRC, they had stated that the graduates who will be graduating from college, like who did diploma now they must have to take fuel *JOB* in their field of study and that will be given on the basis of the shortage of the labour for long-term according to national occupation list. So sir, I already got offer letter from Valley College, but still, I haven’t paid my fees and I am confused that whether I will be eligible for three year, postgraduate work permit or not, please do help me out.

Canadians are raised to not hate and to embrace diversity (including being taught this in all daycares/schools). People need to look at all sides. India has a 29% unemployment rate amongst it's own graduates. One of the big reasons why young people are leaving India in droves. Plus less than 50% of the 950 million working-age population in India is employed (compared to over 70% in other emerging markets). Amongst the Indian working group, many are self-employed and contain “unpaid helpers in family enterprises”. India has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. As many zero in on education as a way to gain access to a western country? Did international students/families pay into Canadian taxes all their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No. Plus Canada did NOT tell international students/parents to spend/risk their life savings on a "Canadian dream". Canada did NOT tell international students to borrow money. Canada did NOT promise international students work. Canada did NOT promise international students PERMANENT RESIDENCY. Meanwhile freelance agents have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Often by painting a distorted picture of what students can receive from Canada. Plus in recent years, a new type of recruitment has cropped up via foreign nationals as many "edu-tech" have created online platforms to connect millions of potential students with the recruiters. The sub-agents have absolutely no no direct connection with the Canadian college. Plus the college has no no ability to control their conduct. Indian sham operations abused/abusing Indian students in person &/or via massive advertising … PRIMARILY in their native language that most Canadians do NOT understand. They paint a false picture in the minds of their own people (of what Canada could or would or should offer Indian students)! Canadians are seeing Indians protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands. Because they may not have enough credentials to remain in Canada? And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires? Why isn't there repetitive crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students making demands? They're in Canada too. And Canadians are seeing Indian protestors carrying signs telling Canada (one of the most tolerant countries on the planet) to end it's racism (by not deporting)!!! Really angering Canadians. And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but likely will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students. Canada's own are also victims of the $ greedy Indian 'agents' who misrepresented Canadian PR. Due to a severe lack of homes and entry jobs in Canada partially due to Indian STUDENTS and agents very creatively swarming all post-secondary SCHOOLS, with vast majority fighting for PR versus returning home without it when SCHOOLING ends! Regardless of their qualifications or Canada's needs. Many asking for asylum too (which Indians rarely qualify for). Canada PR has NEVER been tuition purchasable. Questions: ⦁ What is India doing about any of this? After Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting? Indians themselves say their Indian leaders are often corrupt & deceitful. Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Many in or near Brampton Ontario, and Surrey British Columbia, where most Indians have lived. Coincidence? Schools that Canada is now shutting down. ⦁ What about all the social media videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a shirt? Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very rare input from Canadian citizens. ⦁ What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies? ⦁ What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages? ⦁ What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals? Some home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Often these 'landlords' also cram 20 students in a small home and charge each way too much for rent. ⦁ What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then repeatedly putting Indians only in the top tier positions (while also changing familiar work practices)? BC & Ontario are also outlawing the Caste System. ⦁ What about the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada? Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) even though it all stems from their ancestral home. Why???????? ⦁ What about the Canadian government launching investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent? Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border. Canadians are so so so not used to all this!! Do Indians care about Canadians suffering too? Or do they primarily want to point fingers at the Canadian government etc., when many things weren't in Canada's control (yet)? Why should Canadians pay for what Indians did/do to Indians? Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).

Thank you for sharing your perspective, Fergus. I believe this is a conversation that requires nuance and understanding from both sides. We aim to present a neutral point of view, unlike some immigration consultants who create videos just for views. You’ve raised valid points about the complexities of student immigration and the expectations surrounding it. It’s true that many students and families invest heavily in the hope of building a future in Canada, and misinformation from unethical agents has created unrealistic expectations. While Canada never promised permanent residency, the global nature of education and migration has led many to view it that way. It’s essential for both countries to address these challenges, ensuring accurate guidance for students and balanced policies for Canada. Respectful dialogue is key to finding solutions that benefit both international students and Canadians.
