At the age of 78 I accept I will die someday, to be dropped off and no one around me would be somewhat stressful. I believe we owe the same respect to animals we we look to euthanize to end their burden a pain I just like when we die we should be there with our animals when they are going on. There's one question I have, could veterinarian be at your house administer while you are there with the family and add a compound to their last meal, allowing them gently to pass away in familiar surroundings with their family around them. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. If not available it's such a compound could be developed? If you want a hamster, please do some research first as the size of the enclosure they require is surprisingly large and they need at least 6 inches of bedding. Those little metal cages you see are far too small. Lots of decent resources exist on KZbin.
