On the rear rotor I think you can drill the bolt pattern into the magura rotor that’s what milk racing do with there wheels

In your video you stated you don't want to cut the excess on the brake lines and get brake fluid everywhere, So does that mean they came pre-bled ready to mount and use?

My stock brakes always felt like they wouldnt save me when i go past balance point, like it just kept falling back even grabbing a handful. Sure enough yesterday I sent it back kinda fast and the brakes did not save me. Slid on my ass, I'm so pissed because my new Hope techs are about to be put on.

Nice machining. I can’t stop thinking of such big machines to make small parts. Cool way to do the alignment. I’ve seen something similar using string to get the measurements. If you could get individual raised platforms for each wheel with rotating pads and raise the car to place it on top you could set the toe without raising and lowering each time.

You can make little parts on a big machine but not big parts on a little machine! We use it’s full capabilities and more for other stuff! Thanks for watching:)

Great video quick tip though, There’s no need to pry the collet out of the holder, when you put together an er style holder there is a small lip in the nut that you snap the groove in the collet in first then you start the nut and collet onto the holder then insert your tool last. When you do it this way the collet is pulled out by the nut when you take it off.

Wow how did you manage to wheelie stock sur ron so easily ! I remember when I had my sur ron with stock gearing it was wheelie real easily from a stand still but when I was at rolling at 5 mph no more torque on/off kind of power curve. But I was with the cable throttle maybe it better with electronic throttle !?

I saw your breaks vid and thought... with all thoughts mods how come the stock pegs ??? but now I know . my break pads died after 15 months and killed the rear disk with it. whoops since my bicycle is on year 11 with one set of pads, I never even thought to look. I put a street light kit on my Surron of my own design just roiled over on 2400km. love it.

Mate could you make bigger brake calipers to accept motorcycle brake pads ? Mtb brake pads are too thin
@jarrethamilton8311
@jarrethamilton8311 2 жыл бұрын
I’d love to but calipers are very difficult to produce. Could potentially adapt a dirt bike caliper to work with the surron but then you’d have to do new hubs for new rotors as well. At a certain point you’ve got to draw the line between dirt bike and surron. I’ve had amazing results with my upgraded hope tech brakes!
