Oceania upgraded the Concierge Veranda, Penthouse, and larger suites on Riviera in December 2022. They're stunning. However, Oceania decided to ignore the Concierge Veranda and Veranda staterooms on Marina during the delayed 2024 refurbishment. Now, the Veranda cabins on Marina are looking dated. That's unfortunate at a time when competition is fierce, and Oceania only has one ship that was built in the last 12 years.

Just finished Tauck Danube and we can’t stop talking about the fabulous 5star experience. The “all inclusive “ Tauck program was so much better than anything else we’ve tried, we simply won’t use any other company. Tauck has spoiled us!! On the Danube we could directly compare the other ships and the places they stopped and on several occasions the types of tours they offered. Tauck is head and shoulders above the others- there was never a single time when I could saw I wish something could have been better. Tauck takes care of you from the moment you step off the plane and continues until they deliver you back to the airport. Absolutely incredible service. You will not have to pull even one Euro out of your pocket during the entire journey!! When Tauck says “all inclusive” they mean it!

From everything I’ve heard, Regent is not luxurious when it comes to their food. Their food is not consistent and is hit or Miss. Also if there are issues onboard or on an excursion the crew make it your fault and they will not try to resolve the issue. And finally the managers are rude and do not care about their customers at all.

If you are looking for mindless loud music, sharing a small space with 10,000 others and a person to foist your unmannered children off on, Seven Seas is not for you. But, if you are looking for new adventures, learning new things and experiencing new and valued friendships, try Seven Seas. Frankly, because of your comment, I don't think Seven Seas would ever want you to book with them. You probably wouldn't fit in with the higher class of people who sail with them.

the rooms may be upgraded, but the food and service execution is going downhill ...just got off the riviera on June 2.. I was not the only passenger that thought the same way

The Scenic Eclipse is AMAZING. we sailed this magnificent yacht to the Antarctic. Loved the 2 helicopters and submarine onboard. Food was outstanding. We will be on the Eclipse 2, in the Arctic in a few weeks. Looking forward to experiencing all of it again. I definitely recommend Scenic Eclipse to anyone that wants luxury on an expedition

The Concierge Veranda, Penthouse, and higher stateroom categories on Riviera have been updated and are stunning. The Veranda and Concierge Veranda staterooms on Marina have not been updated. If you're booking a Veranda cabin on Oceania, your money is better spent on their newer ships Vista and Allura.

Hello, Please check out Azamara cruise ships - Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. Both have designated smoking areas located in the aft port-side section of the Looking Glass Lounge and on the starboard forward section of the Pool Deck. All other areas, however, are non-smoking including the public rooms, restaurants, cabins/balcony and majority of the pool deck
