Covering your holes is Sooo important as many still dont⚒️ enjoyed watching vid🤠 Ty 🍻

Cool mods, I've got the same setup but been running a clay claw at the bottom of the hopper. Certainly helps with the clay up here. Have you had issues with the leg mount plates folding under weight? I had to make a brace to support the mounting areas. Looks like the grizzly bars are the go aswell. Punch plate is a bit to risky for larger nugs to slip through.

Did u get anything from the runoff or was it all left in the mixer ?
@Gippslandgolddigga3 ай бұрын
All in the mixer surprisingly I thought some would escape but we done a lot of testing and only a couple of fly poos made it into the sluice while shoveling
@LivingGoodAlaska10 ай бұрын
This is really cool, I just don’t understand how the gold is getting out of the cement mixer and into the sluice.
@Gippslandgolddigga10 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, only a little bit falls out while I’m over feeding it then when I’ve had enough time shoveling I remove the basket and slowly tip the cons down the sluice

Thanks for sharing Steve, looked nice on the creek...haven't been up that way in donkey's. Last time I did I took a newbie up there a stones throw from where you were and he got a picker (0.25g).😆

Thanks for watching, I haven’t been there for ages aswell that was filmed this time last year. I’m sure there is still some good ground up there but you’d have to spend a day moving boulders to get to it, nice picker for a newbie hopefully he’s got gold fever now😆⛏️👍

Great to see you back, yeah, well it depends on how much diggings etc are around to replenish crevices, remembering that it probably took awhile for the gold to be there in the first place. I would test around with a detector and pans before committing to opening up the old mine. Thanks for the video Cheers 👍🤓✌️

Nice set up! The mixer looks like the one sold on line by Edison's if I'm not mistaken. The thing about using a mixer is that you can also convert it into a ball mill if you have quartz rock to break down. My plan is to use Bocce balls, you can buy a set cheaply from K-mart. Just a thought! Mark from Melbourne. PS What part of Gippsland are you from?
@Gippslandgolddigga2 жыл бұрын
G’day mark thanks for your comment, I’m not sure where the mixer came from other than ebay. I didn’t think bocce balls would be heavy enough to smash quartz if they are let me know 👍

I was wondering who attacked that throw out pile haha. Good to see it produced. Seen you heading out with the mixer not too long ago. The "gold magnet" said they aren't actually Chinese diggings but who knows. I love that spot. I'm in the blue navara with ladders on the roof. You don't happen to be a traffic control worker are you? 😂
@Gippslandgolddigga2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t question the gold magnets knowledge but from detecting around the hut sites we’ve found plenty of evidence of the Chinese working there 🤷♂️ I’ll keep an eye out for the blue nav I know 1 lives around the corner with ladders on it might be you, I’m just a local delivery driver mate don’t think I could stand in one spot all day holding a sign 🤙
