One of my biggest regrets is not going to this concert I just moved to the Bay area and got a job so I figured I didn't want to screw it up, stupid me

Reading his book up and down with the rolling stones now as it goes. Although I didn't expect him to sound like he does. Expected a cockney accent as he was a doorman and a bit of a rogue

I watched this in 1964 with my family. Dean Martin was playing to the adults. The Rolling Stones were playing for the kids, like me. Here I am at age 73. The Stones are still touring.

Ahhhh Darn! Keith was just going to sing "Happy" and the film ended. I was here too! The show was a high, the cops on horse patrol clippity clopping pushing over everyone exiting the show was the low. Brutal. Never experienced that ever again in 40 years of going to shows!

Just finished the book today seems to be straight on Mick and Kieth are selfish people who forced Brian Jones and Mick Taylor out for their own benefit

Well, he’s right about the English Hell’s Angels at the time. They were harmless at Hyde Park. Wore the leather jackets, but sometimes took the bus and lived with their mums. In the states, of course, they were very different.

So glad the Stones are still around. If I had my way, I would extract the right genetic sequence from Mick, Keith, the second Mick, Ronnie, Bill, and Charlie (not much of a fan of Brian) and have them all come back again at age 20 or thereabouts and do this whole thing all over again...and again...and again...and just keep going. No matter what they've done or been through, the Stones are one of the all-time, tee-total, top-notch best bands of all time, from any time, and in any incarnation.

Insane stamina. I love the Doors and they were around only 6 years. That too is crazy stamina. Spirit of the airwaves. Shooting star syndrome. All good.

@@lhs66 Right --- And only the Stones were able to beat that 'Shooting Star' syndrome --- Too much worse for wear at times, but I'm glad they lasted.
