The more we talk about this "event" the more it encourages people to give it a try. And eventually ESPECIALLY at the speeds the top teams are running there will be a fatal accident. It might only be the Cannonballers who pay the price, or it might include innocent bystanders. Everyone involved from VinWicki to those making runs should be asking themselves how they are going to feel when a Cannonball team wipes out a family. I'm sure this will be as popular as a whore in church but the simple fact is that if people keep making these runs there will be an accident eventually.

I have a lifted v6 swapped clean 1995 geo tracker i would sell. In NY had it shipped in from out west and was built by a big suzuki shop 8500 has hard to find fiberglass top and steel front diff. Skid plates and more. I love these things. Side by side you can drive on the street

I think a 2011-2017 Caprice PPV 6L L77 would have been a better choice. I like Fords too however nobody is going to be fooled by a Crown Vic P71 anymore because no cops drive them and it would cost more to buy a decent P71 and swap a proper engine like Coyote 5L, Boss 6.2L, 6.8/7.3L Godzilla and a 6R80E transmission than it would cost to just buy a PPV do an AFM delete, cam, headers and a tune. I am impressed that a 3.5L twin turbo and transaxle was reliable under that hard of use coast to coast. I always wished that instead of building that generation of Taurus based on the Volvo platform that they would have just brought back the Falcon using a LHD version of the Australian Falcon and instead of the V6 EcoBoost they would have given us the Barra 4L I6s in the Falcon, Ranchero, Mustang and F150...if only...
