I often tell people, all mechanics and engineers from the Willenhall and Bilston area are called Dave, my Son works for a local family firm in Aldridge selling car parts and both the father and son are called Dave. Jokes aside it's great to see firms like this still engineering stuff and keeping old cars alive.

Just stumbled on this channel you guys do so interesting stuff, and you are proper engineers, I love the fact you mix old and new, and fabricate not bought to create something excellent

I'd read that Rolls Royce B80 engines used two separate B40 cylinder heads but looking at that one, that was clearly wrong.

Lol I was watching the engine turn anticlockwise from the front and wondered if it was one of those rare engines, or the picture mirrored. Beautiful engine though isn't it.

Interesting video , I had an incredibly rare 1929 Rochet-Schneider 26CV and there is so much similar detailing I recognise on this. Very much French engineering style of the highest order and proportions.Even the sparking plugs with built in cooling fins from memory of ' Equem ' manufacture !.

My garage and workshop look the same as well! I'd love to watch some trials locally to the West Midlands, can you recommend anywhere or pass on a link to venues. There can't be many T1's about, most were RR Shadows, love the shooting brake idea.

The 20hp saloon ticking over commendably sweetly as expected. Looks like a latish one , possibly 1928 and very similar to a friend's car with Park Ward coachwork.

That's probably how i'd corner if i'd been sniffing hallucinogenic mould off the back seat of a Rolls. I like the concept of trials in a car with the front & rear axles in different postcodes. As Simon and Lyndsay off the Fast Show would have said:- 'It's sorted- it's gripped- let's offroad!'

your garage reminds me of the time I bought a new jigsaw to cut a hole in a tranny for. a side window and surprise surprise I had a brand new one to start with..at the age of 74 I decided to clear some my rubbish out of my garage.only thing that got binned was a card board box and didn't really want to throw it out.all the best for the new year and keep those videos coming.

You do realise you'll just get finished making a coil mount and the first thing you'll pick up will have one underneath. Sods law. As always 😅. Bit like the last bolt is always stuck fast. I get round that little problem by slackening the last bolt first. Simples!! 😂. Great videos lads. All the best for 25.

excellent: is that a straight six?. using jerry cans could just look like you're hauling extra fuel , at least the rotten as a pear fuel tank is less of a bummer.

@@kingearl2596 I remembered Sunbeam Talbot but I admit I did look up Darracq. The film Genevieve had a early Darracq, Wilfred Hyde White stopped them to reminisce about him courting his wife in a Darracq. So nice to see a genuine resurrection and the boys enjoying themselves they are keeping the machine alive and sometime in its life it will have another resurrection.
