Actually I visited Egypt when I was teenager with my parents, only ten days at capital cairo , we visited pyramids, pharaoh museums . If you please I looked up for meaning of oracle is person giving wise decisions or opinions, synonyms prophet , seer , peophesiet . Today oracle means person or thing consider to provide insight , wise counsel or prophet predictions, for example pop culture. In bible oracle of god is room where in he abodes holy hoiles . In Egypt goddess wadject ( eye of moon) is snake headed woman or woman with two snake heads . Her oracle was renowned temple in per wadject (Greece name buto ) . Oracle of wadject may have been source for oracle tradition which spread from Egypt to Greece . Oracles were priests who specialized in reading dreams and communicating information from gods to dreamer . In ancient Egyptians were polytheistic, which means that they believed in many gods . Each god and goddess which his or her own duty . Ancient Egyptian civilization they were essential tools for divination and predicating future . Egyptian god of dreams is tutu. Oracle in Egyptian history Amun was most popular and , most consulted god . Ancient Egyptians believed dreams were like oracles , bringing messages from god . As all of us know dream of pharaoh which explained by Joseph about famine after years which included seven healthy fat cows , seven weak cows , seven grain devoured by plighted ones . On your investigation of Celtic culture, in the British Isles there were at least two separate branches of Celtic people, divided by languages too. The Gwedelig (i may has misspelt that) were in the Western reaches (Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man) whereas the Brythonic celts were on mainland Britain and northern France (Brittany). The Irish, Scots Gaelic and Manx language are all related closely to each other but are very different to the other Celtic languages of Britain and Brittany (Breton, Cornish, Welsh and the now extinct Cumbric languages which are related to each other). Before Saxons came to Britain and later Normans arrived, there were no Anglo Saxons here but the Celts of Ireland were not the same celts as those in what is now England , Scotland and Wales. Irish migration to Scotland brought the Irish language to Scotland and this evolved into Scots Gaelic. Lots to investigate.
