The place you gotta worry about rust the most is where the control arms bolt in. I had a 20 year old car and the wheel just about caved in while driving because the frame broke and then the control arm wasn’t connected to anything.

Just watched this video, ive just inherited dads old base station. A little older than yours, dating back to about 78. Extra channels added as well, with a list from the late 70s taped to the top. Would be interesting to compare our lists to see if anything is the same or different

They are great! Do not get T-boned in one though. Still more crashworthy than it's appearance would suggest and the airbags do their job well, but 6000 pound pickup truck hitting 2000 pound car....not gonna be good.

I think Ford does this intentionally with the coils. Just had to change all my coils because even though they were working fine the fins that hold the resistors in place are made to get brittle and break off when you try to remove old resistor. Someone needs to make something that after drilling old fins out you can drop in coil so it will hold new resistors in place.

Hard to break something that makes the same horsepower as a Briggs and Stratton and has the same build quality as a 1986 Hyundai. Typical Shitsubishi JUNK rusting out in under a decade, my Toyota Yaris is 10 years old, lives in the rust belt and is rust free. It pays to buy quality brands.

Yep, I drive a 2015 model (oct. 2014 delivered) 1.2 CVT in northwestern Europe (also salted roads in winter). It has 140.000 km now (85 kmiles?). No rust, no defects no squeals in the interior, no wear visible, nothing. Not even a light bulb broke. I had to replace wiper rubbers five times, 4 tyres twice, CVT fluid once, 1 top off of the AC, 9 interior and engine air filters. a generator belt (squealing) a battery once, alignment twice ( it still drove straight, but after each tyre change my steering wheel seems to be off) and had a small rainwater leakage in the back, some kit solved that. Averaged 52 mpg over its whole life, to now.

Great job Johnny ! Thanks for sharing your impressions. Sure, there are much better watches, but this one rules! Maybe the worst I could say is about the lack of light or luminescence, but the design hits it hard. My parents live abroad, and I can have a dual time set to contact them anytime I want without having to google o to take my phone to find out if there is a suitable time to call them. Love the design! Love Casio!
