The council comes across as dodgy and incompetent led by Robin Porter who refuses to accept the findings and came across as argumentative. Also before a councillor becomes a councillor they need to be able to speak clear English.

I started using earplugs on nights when fireworks are going off. I found that if you pay a bit more and get good ones (as opposed to the cheap foam ones that don’t really do anything) I can barely hear any noise and can easily sleep. So, if the neighbours are having a party or watching a film on full volume late at night, I just pop them in and the problem vanishes.

theres only one way to stop noisy neighbours and that is to move to a more expensive house far away from these doley chavs, councils and ha's do nothing

On a scale from worst to "least" worst, there are psychopaths, pathological narcissists and (as I usually call them) evil Neanderthals. Every psychopath is a pathological narcissist, not every pathological narcissist is a psychopath, and evil Neanderthals are those "mediocre-traumatized-frustrated-envious" people. Psychopaths and narcissists can be easily identified from afar. For the sadism, perversity and cruelty are evident (generally, excessively sympathetic to hide the total lack of empathy). That's 2% of the population -- it seems small, but it's a big number. If they do not demonstrate the typical characteristics, then the "neighbor" or "colleague" of class, work or room torturer is in the category of "evil Neanderthals". But be careful... narcissists tend not to kill literally (as psychopaths do), but they "kill" you emotionally and psychologically, make you sick (anxiety, depression, panic syndrome, social phobia, etc.) and can lead you to to kill. The same thing the "evil Neanderthals" try to do. They are vampires with their simple lives, people with destroyed dreams, without hope of a meaningful life professionally and emotionally, whose days are summed up in projecting and transferring the blame for their traumas and frustrations and spending their remaining energy and time to engineer provocations, looks distortions, indirect insults, gossip, defamation, slander, rug pulling, betrayal, persecution, torture, etc. -- of course, all for free -- and they literally need to absorb the life energy of their victims by watching their suffering (in fear, anger, avoidance, etc.) in front of them, day after day. They never get tired, because it is the only thing they know and do and there is no space for them to learn anything valuable, moral, ethical or empathetic. This type of personality tends to torment and even manages to delay and destroy entire lives. Its favorite target is people with opposite profiles: beautiful, (apparently) intelligent and/or successful, delicate, silent, profound, empathetic, ethical, single, alone, etc. Life has made me suspect that there is at least one narcissist and three evil Neanderthals in every neighborhood and two psychopaths in every city. In every (school) class there is at least one evil Neanderthal. If you meet this profile along the way, be compliant, pretend sympathy, empathy and understanding, but don't open up, don't invite them to your home, don't tell details about your life, don't reveal secrets, omit and, in what If you can, also lie. Unfortunately, this is necessary for precaution and survival, until one day this profile is properly framed by law and policy to prevent them from causing more victims around the world.

Wow, that was painful to watch. Cllr Shaw will be laughing at the thought of having to have training on a subject he knows more about than anyone else. Perhaps it should be training with a full written test which is scored and subject to a retest if he does not achieve at least 90%. Maligning other councillors and or other political groups brings all the councillors and the political groups into disrepute.
