Hi, the Woodcut Pro Mount has been designed to hold reasonable sized projects. We are not aware of any situation where this product has failed. Best regards Dan

After reading reviews on Woodcut Bowlsavers, I took a chance and still ordered one. It's the best fit for my lathe. The main problem being complained about was that the Bowlsaver post that goes in the tool rest would not thread into the plate casting. Post and plate having different threads. I do have a friend who owns a machine shop, so that didn't worry me. There was one thing missing in what arrived, my Bowlsaver didn't come with the two gauge patterns. What is the proper inside distance between the small gauge and the large gauge? so I can make my own gauges.

Зачем такая огромная тряпка? Я покрываю свои изделия льняным маслом с пчелиным воском, но хватает тряпочки 10 на 10 сантиметров. После использования на одной поделке выкидываю и отрываю новую от простыни старой. Why such a huge rag? I cover my products with linseed oil with beeswax, but there are enough rags 10 by 10 centimeters. After using it on one craft, I throw it away and open a new one from the old sheet.

Thank you, what an informative video, with tips and tricks to help sharpen my turning tools. I got one of the jigs and 1 older base slide 2nd hand & im the 2nd owner about 2 months back. I have some very nice sharp tools and some I've experimented with as they are old carbon ones and i also used some of them to help me learn to sharpen on, so i can then sharpen my newer tools. My CBN wheel and some other grinder toys and my 1st brand new turning tool, im very excited, arrive next week. So im glad i found this video to add to my other Woodcut ones I've saved. So thanks for helping me to understand and sharpen my tools better, Cheers 🍻

Из карбида титана+вольфрам. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGTUfnign92BhtE It is a pity that there is no continuation. I was hoping to find out more. The fact is that I also made a cutter similar in design, it works amazingly. Made of titanium carbide + tungsten. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGTUfnign92BhtE

Странно что такой удобный и безопасный резец не делают массово. Информации по таким резцам нет, я заново для себя сконструировал и сделал аналогичный безопасный резец из твердосплава.

Hi Phil, Mike from Nelson CLW, so your irons tool gate is basically floating it's not locked in position on the tool rest. it pivots while you are cutting . that's what I am doing wrong . I always thought the irons tool gate post was locked to banjo. Very informative video thank you Phil.

Your depth guage only tells you how deep your piece is, not the height of the outside. therefore you don't actually know the thickness of the bottom.

A 3" forstner bit would have taken more wood our faster, leaving just a smal amount for your tool to cut.

Then why you watching a jig, sharpening and information video, from a total different company, and that has nothing to do with the way you sharpen your tools, Not all can afford your system, even though I'd love one, Did you watch the whole video, if so did you know you can watch videos on technique, or turning styles on other videos, for different jigs??

Is the bowl saver adjustable to create nesting bowls or will it only cut one size? Chuck
@woodcuttoolsnz
@woodcuttoolsnz Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for your question. Yes the Woodcut Bowlsaver is designed to make different shaped bowls. To change the shape of the base of the bowl you are coring simply slide the Tailstock along the track of your Woodcut Tools Bowlsaver or Max to achieve the shape you require. To change the shape of the top of the wall of the bowl you are coring we recommend you core a thicker wall with your Woodcut Tools Bowlsaver or Max and then use your Bowl Gouge to achieve the shape you require. Please let us know if we can support you further. [email protected]. Best regards Dan
