Absolute love. So wonderful to see Ms. Monet and Boz going at it with their duet. Most the time the other background singer would feel slighted. Hell no, Ms. Barbara Wilson is loving the moment. Thanks to all.
1987. Left Marine Corps, with my cousin and my best friend at a Country bar. They babes sitting, laughing. I said to my friend Ray. I am going to meet that girl. "Let's see if I could mess her life up". Hahaha. Striking Gal I asked for a dance to this song. No contact, but man the way she dances and tremendous smile. LOL 37 years later, I am tremendously in LOVE. I watch you brushing your Silver hair. I am a LUCKY man. "Thank you baby". Your beyond kindest heart, like my MOM. 1992 your dad asked me, If I was pretending or Life. I told him, " I am not taught that way". Good he said. I glorified of your sensibility and love. My Girl. I am who I am because of you.

Until the day he dies, Jack DeJohnette is the world's finest drummer.

I mean I really enjoy the collabs Marcus has done RunForCover with over the years, but Sanborn's style and riffs always fit the groove Miller would set with the drummer. David Sanborn's unique flavor on the sax is instantly recognizable.

Gotta love the Hammond B3 organ. Wonder if there is a Leslie speaker in the mix somewhere on stage

Just listened again, paying closer attention to the drum solo. Jack kept that pocket in there through the entire solo. Oh sure, it may have hidden in the cymbals, or under the snare, or in the kick from time to time, but it was there the whole time. Incredible!

The drum solo brings back memories of Gene Krupa. Nothing like lots of "mandatory" drum solos but music with a purpose.

Wow! I didn’t know he had passed. I saw him, Marcus Miller and Bob James a few years back. They put on an unmatched performance. RIP Mr Sanborn and thank you for timeless music.
