A great job, to achieve this diorama, which shows a lot of realismen. Well arranged scene with a good eye for the details and the interaction of the figures. Best wishes, Joachim

Nice diorama and modeling, but the panzerfaust didn’t come out until 1943, long after the KV2 and “door knocker” would have been phased out
@Adrianosdiorama5 ай бұрын
There is information that one Kv2 tank survived until 1943 and took part in the battle. This is the tank in the diorama 😁 www.tankarchives.ca/2015/09/long-living-kv-2.html?m=1

Nice build but...The PBR was a boat with a hull constructed entirely of fiberglass, the boat was not well protected, aside from some ceramic armor shielding for the machine gun pit. So rust is a big mistake, sorry :(
@Adrianosdiorama9 ай бұрын
Piotr, I agree with you, but I was more interested in showing the dirty floor with dirt left by the soldiers' shoes. As you probably know, the soil in Vietnam has a color similar to rust
@piotrgrzedzinski14299 ай бұрын
Not exactly, if soil is similar to rust, on the riverside the mud is rather similar to hemp. I recomend use Liquid pigment LPW05 Colonial Dark Sand from LIFECOLOR. (In my opinion, LIFECOLOR gives the genius solutions for weathering) Look on this picture from Vietnam brownwater-navy.com/vietnam/photos2/S748.jpg The riverside mud is mor yellow not red. Becouse your PBR is very nice build, I took the liberty of drawing attention to this detail. I think that once you add this correct mud to the deck, your model will be perfect 👍@@Adrianosdiorama

Nice to see I'm not the only one who uses dollar store-Lego-knockoffs as well. Real Lego is too pricy for that , but the knockoffs are so useful and cheap.

Something I have repeatedly failed to understand - why do dioramaists assemble everything before painting it? I would think that getting primer and perhaps base-coat down would make it easier to get the details right if you did it before gluing things on top of other things and making crannies it's hard to get a paintbrush into. Weathering and washes obviously happen after assembly, but why all the painting? I am not criticizing, I just honestly cannot see what's apparently obvious to everyone who actually does this as art.
