But as for Yaldabaoth, while I do agree that society as a whole didn't improve under the Phantom Thieves, and in fact stagnated, under Yaldabaoth? I don't know, it seems to me like his world would equally be one of stagnation, where humanity won't have an iota of a chance to at least take that first step. I think the Phantom Thieves knew this as well, and for as poor as their rebuttals were, they realized that power like theirs shouldn't be given to one single person or team, because that's essentially putting the faith of humanity in your hands. If that means Mementos has to be destroyed, fine.

I earnestly think this is one of the most high quality videos uploaded to the site as of late. it'd be easy to have this whole video be unserious and lack any kind of sincerety but no its clear you have a lot to say about story structure and narrative. 25:06 Tbh I dont think that they are displaying that relationship positivly. Through out the whole comic(or atleast the part when she is still a young 13 yo) she gets groomed by older people. Vriska as a character is really easely influenced, showed by Doc scratch or mindfangs diary. Anothet part of her is that she acts much more mature for her age, which unfurtunatley makes her an easy victim of such people, as much as she is smart and manipulative, she is still a somewhat naive kid. I think this was meant to show how even when she gets her ‘happy’ ending, she still gets manipulated by someone older; or what Im trying to say is the relationship is showed from her perspective, where she clearly doesnt see anything suspicious with it.

This video is so short, can the next one be longer and also have more eridan in it.

I think you missed some crucial points. For one the people the PT change are legitimately bad people and needed to be brought to justice. Yaldabaoth on the other hand wants to remove free will from EVERYONE, innocent or criminal. That's the difference. Another important point is that later in the game the PT accept that fame is not important and should not be their driving force. They made a promise in beginning to do the right thing no matter what and they remember that promise at the end. And they are doing the right thing while Yaldabaoth just wants to prove a point like a petty child.
