Gotta love the fact that despite Saladin always having the numerical advantage, he still never could defeat an organized smaller army of crusaders.

Does anyone know how many Muslims & Romans died in the Battle??? No one knows right. The most likely numbers of Roman soldiers were 10000 and not more as Mutah is in Jordan which was inhabited by Christian Arabs. The most likely scenario could have been that Muslims encountered local Roman Garison which cannot exceed more than 10000 soldiers. Only 14 Muslims deaths has been recorded so probably it was a skirmish or commanders fighting 1on 1. So be realistic not stupid. To maintain 100000, or 200000 soldiers at 1 place is not an easy job and takes lot of resources even in Modern world. Food, shelter, Horses Camels weapons, so on and so on. Historians often exaggerate the numbers to glorify their comrades because nobody can count the exact number of soldiers in the opposite camp or arrayed in Battle lines.

Banu Quraisa (jews) made the trenches possible for the Muslims. After Muslims prevailed, angel Gibril told Mohamed eradicate Banu Quraisa (jews) and so he did and contunued untill he completely ethnically cleansed Saudi Arabia of its natives (jews)

Corrections: The Muslims were 3 thousand and the Romans were 200,000! The Roman Army was led by Theodore and also at the same time Prophet sent Ali and Umar (R) to conquer the forgotten kingdom of Khaybar.

Ali was the one broke the door and they couldn’t believe ali has such a power and bravery . Muhammad and Ahl beit are the only one deserve to say aleyhomosalam. Not Osman that we’re not in a single battle and start drinking after Mohammad and corrupted the Muhammad inheritances.

There is still a lot of detail on the point of the problem so that Muslims win. 1. Some Roman soldiers who were injured or left behind or were helpless changed religions and changed sides. And Muslims do not hope for prisoners or ransom money, but rather hope that humans will know the true truth and human equality without rank. 2. Muslim soldiers were indeed disciplined towards their groups, which at that time were grouped according to their tribes. But after fighting, they can sneak up like slippery eels, biting right and left on the back of the face. Roman soldiers in uniform were easy to recognize, in contrast to Muslims who had limited weapons and sometimes used what they found. 3. Dahrar's 500 horsemen blocking the escape route also carried arrows to harass the desperated Roman leaders. 4. Not all war decisions were taken based on Khalid r.a.'s ideas. himself, if the proposal is full of confidence and sincerity then he allows it. What is important is that the main thing is to move forward. 5. The story of many Roman Armenian and Slavic troops who jumped into the river and disappeared by suicide is not that big, mostly is that many converted to Islam and continued their wider adventures until Sassanid Iran preached Islam. 6. What was crucial was the emergence of female female heroes which confused Roman, for whom his prostitutes would not defend him to the death.

I'm very curious in one thing: How did the Muslim army ride the nearly 1000 km distance from Madina to Mutah and then all the way back? For such a ride, they would have had to to stop lots of times to replenish food and water. Yet, there no such locations of logistics at the time. Plus, only small numbers of troops were on camels. How did the majority infantry walk that huge distance? And then 3,000 fought an army of 100,000 or even 200,000? This whole battle seems a lot like a legend.

You do realize that walking and living in the desert for them was an everyday thing right? You also know they knew how to dig superficially and they could extract water? Lastly, camels. They used them for water and food. How? They made them them thirsty, so they'd go and drink a lot of water and fill up "the tank" yup camels have tanks which is why they last long without water. So after they fill up the tank they tied his mouth so he couldn't drink the water. When needed, they'd slaughter the camel and drink the water in it's reserve and eat it's meat. I do not know a specific source for all of this. But it is widely known and it is out there everyone can google it. All of what I said made everyone realize it's the truth, and they could've done it. (khalid ibn alwalid) did that a lot in his conquests. No army leader thinks he could come from the east, because its a no mans land and a dead area with no water. And if he had to come from the north khalid would have to stay on the road for 3 months. But nope. He did the tactics i mentioned and arrived in 40 days and surprises everyone and won the battle against both Rome and Persia united with their armies shoulder to shoulder with a less numerical advantage (it's there, google it)

Either the sources are authentic or you got the knoledge from the wrong soureces the authentic source says that Khalid ibn Al waleed on the last day told his soldiers to attack fast and create like dust storm. When they attacked on them the enemy were confused and they thought more soldiers came to help muslims. Muslim killed so many people especially khalid who killed so many that he broke 9 swords and only the 10th sword servived.
