I've personally found his shield arm to be the safest place to attack him from. There's a limit to what he can do, and it's less punishing if you mess up. I used to struggle with this guy a lot until I realised that.

Thank you for the advice, I still have Maliketh's sentinel to go back to take out at some point, so this could be helpful then. I just ran past him to beat Maliketh so I never got the armor he drops.

@@CaptainNingle It was helpful advice, but I was best able to take advantage of it when the boss shifted to phase two and turned the shield side toward me while using lightning. I was able to use some rot arrows to drain him down to phase two then took him on at closer range when he'd do AOE lightning. Also lightning protection items helped. X3

Great gameplay , what I love about this mission in particular is that the player doesn’t say a word , they let Johnny handle the situation . It just goes to show how close they are and that they are best friends , actually they are more like brothers than anything else .

4:00 JESUS CHRIST! This was the first game I played when I got a playstation aged about 10. Its fun to watch someone explore it for the first time. Im playing again too, its so much fun but more like riding a bike or putitng on a comfy well worn pair of shoes.

Yeah, that was a close one. Glad you enjoyed the video, I've been trying to play as blind as possible to get close to the feel of playing the game back in 96 (although the game lets me save anywhere instead of at save crystals).

The next stage is actually very good. The Cistern is one of the better levels of its theme. You'll also like the first two levels of Egypt but make sure you save your ammo for either the Uzis or the Magnums for the last level of Egypt. You're going to need it for the last third and forth of the game. Enemies get tough and fast, in numerous quantities in small spaces

This was made by FROM SOFTWARE!? When I saw AC6, I was so intrigued that I said, “This! This is THE mecha game I’ve been looking for”. None of the Gundam games scratched that itch but this! Holy hell…. nah Bamco needs to get FS to make another Gundam game that plays like AC6.

The AC series makes up about half or a bit over half of all the Mecha games From Software have made since the original Armored Core in 1997. They've kept themselves going on these kinds of games while experimenting in many other genres over the years, with Souls managing to strike a chord and bring the From Soft general game experience to a wider audience. I do wish I could take a glimpse into the alternate reality where the Echo Night series was a breakthrough franchise for them, though.

I can tell that FromSoftware really refined the combat style of Armored core in this with more melee clashes, finishers and dynamic camera angles. It just gets me more excited about AC6. Just sucks that all their mecha games are so hard to get.

If you have a PS3 or Xbox 360, only Verdict Day is available. Though apparently the series got rebooted 3 times. The PS1 games are one timeline. Same for the PS2 games as they got reboot. The PS3/360 games got 4 games yet two reboots with 4 and FV are in one story while V ans VD are from a different reboot. So it shouldn't be hard to get into, sorta. Just know if you think it's like the Souls games, we'll prepare to suffer, sweet summer child!

Didnt matter how good it looked. The gameplay and tunnel vision fights grew boring fast for me. I wish people put real work on gundam games since the series are so epic.

I think this is the best combat gameplay for gundam game, why don't they invest more on this ? This is so epic... Its only lack of npc gundams, the space looks too empty, but the combat style is the best...
