Thanks for the update. We're 99.9% sure it's a Top Spin, as the Sound Assessment document in the plans uses a 'similar Top Spin attraction' as the comparison.

Its a shame what happened to it, hoping it will be back open soon. Was a good atmosphere there on opening day, think by looks of things it going to repeat when it reopens again? When ever that maybe? But nice update, hope it reopens in next week & those who want to find their fearless can. Cheers. 😀👍

Once again why are Thorpe Park allowing such a looooooomg Q kine when a Q sow any ride shouldnt be longer than 10 minutes absolute maximum people cant / sont want to stand in long queues

Why would anyone want to buy merch for a ride they can't go on?. I have a train ticket and an overnight stay at the resort for 17/18th fingers crossed it's open an big queues have died by then.

I miss Hyperia but will be opening soon. Wouldn't surprise me if the reopening is when school weeks happens? like the new merch and Hyporium shop.

I feel for thorpe. But common what a day and night before. Its only prolonged excitement for the rest. We know what treat there in for. New coasters just bedding in. Keep up the good work Sophia. Keep it real

What's really weird to me is whatever went wrong happened overnight went nothing was happening...... which is impossible... so was it unsafely operating all day on the opening day ?? Must have been right ? People were riding way gone 10 pm but then couldn't open in the morning 🤔 I think they're hiding something

Went on the Sunday after opening, literally nearly went to TEARS when I found out it wasn’t opening! Found out the night before, still went and watched some workers at the top of the coaster! I will say, the queues for all the other rides were less than 10 minutes so managed to get on stealth 7 times (3 times in a row) , colossus 5 times (2 times in a row, didn’t want concussion lol) and Saw 4 times! We’re planning our trip back for when Hyperia opens, just wondering where the cameras are on the ride? I’ve got a ride access pass so thankfully won’t be waiting as long, my poor ankle couldn’t do it 😂

They closed it because a 5 hour Q wasnt long enough so theyve closed it to build interest it will be more like a 7 hour Q when it re opens

I know it is actually closed but it is a great marketing stunt by Thorpe park since it gets more enthusiasts talking about it, more people will want to ride it and there will be loads of people coming on the 8th june if it’s opened

the fact a crane needs to be involved means its got to be something to do with the chain/cog that it sits on so hopefully this is repaired in a safe and not rushed way.

With all the new tech being incorporated into these modern rides it’s inevitable there will be a few teething problems, but its the only way to keep pushing the boundaries & giving us more extreme experiences, I’m sure Mack will get it sorted.

I'm gutted for Mack especially actually, they've had some great hits in recent years and this year's a big one for them, and if you've ever been in touch with them or lucky enough to visit their factory they really are a lovely down-to-earth business!! But Hyperia is indeed (obviously) safe for anyone worried and it's easy to get swept up in all the hype (heh), it is probably just something like the lift mechanism :)
