Dr. Dimash Qudaibergen Ph.D. is from Kazakhstan. Now age 30, he began his classical/operatic training before turning 5. Dimash was born with perfect pitch, informing his grandmother as a toddler, that her piano needed tuning. He spent his entire pre-college life in Kazakhstan's elite music for youth. His dedication is unmeasured. He has spent his life vocalizing and instrument rehearsal for at least 6 hours a day. He has never ceased training and while most of his training was with the same man who trained his mother, he is now training under an international vocal coach. It looks so effortless because he has lived his life in total dedication to his craft. After completing his doctoral studies, he immediately moved to the U.S. to study at the New York School of Fine Arts L.A. campus. majoring in film directing. This was cut short by the death of his paternal grandfather who along with his paternal grandmother, raised him (A Kazak tradition as a first born son.) His parents are well known entertainers in Kazakhstan. He is considered the best singer in the world.

They? Dimash is a he. Dimah is male and would never want to be called they. Also, he is a singular being. A singular man. They is a plural word.

I absolutely love Dimash. I could sit here and gush like a school girl (at 65 years of age), but I don't even want to take a chance at offending him in any way (like he'll read this). I truly believe that he's a gift from God, sent to us during these massively difficult times in this world... to bring people together (he's got millions of fans in every country) with pure love in their hearts. I've honestly had to take a small break from his music for a bit, because it overwhelms me so much. You'll be continuously amazed with this vocal abilities, stage presence, and ease with switching to different genres in a flash. I could go on, but this is already a novel. Enjoy!

Just to second what @flacaplaca wrote. I live in North Carolina and went to Hong Kong and Istanbul to see Dimash (dee-MAHSH, BTW) after a lifetime of Stones, Petty, Neil Young, etc. If you want to be even more blown away, check out Dimash's performance of S.O.S. at the Slavic Bazaar.

Thank you. Dimash is the best singer/vocalist on the planet. There is no one else has a voice anything like his. It's 'Di Mosh' (like mosh pit). Dimash has a 7+ octave range and has been singing/performing/training/studying music literally his whole life, since he was 3 yrs. old. And yes, he is continually studying and sings no less than 3 hours a day every single day. He sings in 14+ languages, and multiple genres. This is a tiny touch of what Dimash is about. He IS music. There are other people who might hit some of what he does, but not as beautifully. He is beyond phenomenal. More please! :)

Dimash never stops practicing. I heard him the first time in 2017 when my sister sent me a link to a video (SOS d’un terrien en détresse) and I didn’t have time to follow up. Took 2020 and the lock downs for me to become immersed and discover more. Really deep rabbit hole you’ve uncovered- good luck! Cheers from Canada!

No no, don't ever compare yourself to any other singer, but especially not to Dimash because where he's concerned nobody can touch him. It would be wasted energy 😂 He's been singing virtually since he came out of the womb and on stage since he was 18 months old (taking bows at his parents concerts no less 😂). And he trains his voice at least 3 hours a day, swims regularly under water to improve breath control, trains his body like an athlete, doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs. C'mon, nobody can beat that - and they don't really need to. We only need one Dimash and we already have him. All we have to do now is enjoy his talent and let it fill us with awe, amazement and delight. This song is the tip of the iceberg. Please react to SOS, Stranger, Sinful Passion and Olympico. You are going to get your mind blown every single time. There is nothing this guy can't sing, through rock, pop, ballads, rap, opera, jazz, funk and ethnic traditional (and sometimes he mixes genres within a single song). His vocal dynamics are unparalled. He can go from a whisper to a metal scream almost instantaneously, from whistle notes to bass, and his intricate runs are just to die for. If you want exquisite beauty, raw power and everything in between you've landed in the right place. What a fantastic reaction. Thank you so much! ❤❤❤ Please listen to more Dimash. I've liked and subbed in hope of more. Have a great day and see you soon!

Dimash takes his gift very seriously. This is his life's work. I've been a die-hard Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fan for over 40 years. When he died I was devastated. I saw Dimash by chance on a Facebook reel singing SOS and my mind was blown. Six months after that I flew to Hong Kong to see him live. He is amazing live. Then I went to Budapest, Istanbul, and Kazakhstan to see him in concert. I live in Southern California. Next month I will go to see him in Prague and Germany. He is an amazing talent with a heart of gold and a passion for world peace. He loves his country and his family and he is extremely grateful for his fans (Dears). He seems too good to be true but I promise, he is the real deal.

Maybe go back to the performance that launched his international popularity : the French song "SOS..." on the Chinese TV show I Am Singer in 2017. He was a guest, and that was the first performance of Episode 1. All of a sudden, he had millions of new fans. On Episode 4 of the same show, he also sang a Chinese version of this song called "Late Autumn" or "Autumn Strong".

Welcome to the galaxy Dimash! He brings so much pleasure to listen to that it’s addictive! He is the best singer and performer of this century, we are lucky to be in this time to be able to listen to him! Son of a soprano and a famous pop singer in Kazakhstan, he has perfect pitch, has been studying music and singing since he was 5, graduated in lyrical and contemporary singing (he was offered to sing as a tenor at the Astana opera, but preferred to make a career as a popular singer), has a master’s degree in musical composition, is doing a PhD in musicology, is a multi-instrumentalist (plays 8 instruments perfectly), sings in 15 languages and reaches straight to your soul in any of them, has a 7.7 octave range! He says that his thing is 1% gift and 99% hard work, and despite all our love for him, his Dears (that's what he calls his fans, because he considers them family), his fame and talent, he is a super humble, honest and generous person, he loves his family, the elderly and the children, his homeland and the traditions of his people, of which he is an ambassador and has been named "Artist of the people" twice (the last in October 2023), the United Nations has named him Goodwill Ambassador for Migration, he received the Serbian equivalent of the Nobel Prize along with countless other awards. He is a philanthropist, he donates much of the money raised at his concerts to the needy and noble causes, he fights for peace in the world. To continue singing what he likes (folklore from his country, neoclassicals) he has not made any deals with any record company and is independent. He has never left a concert, not even in torrential rain, not even when he was sick (he has sung with a fever), not even after losing a friend or his grandfather, he has not abandoned his Dears, because he says that he loves us and that without us, he would be nothing! That is why we love him unconditionally! I suggest you listen to SOS, Olímpico, Sinfull passion, Across endless dimensions, Oceans over the time, El amor es como un sueño, Omir, and his masterpiece: Requiem: The story of one Sky, etc

😅 That's funny you should mention Virtuosos as Dimash was invited to be a judge at the Virtuosos Talent Show for Young Classical Musicians broadcast on Hungarian tv station Danube TV in Budapest Hungary in Dec 2023. It was broadcast in Jan 2024 and included a special performance by Placido Domingo and Dimash singing "Pearl Fishers Duet" (on Dimash's KZbin channel and is also a released single from the Virtuosos team). Apparently Dimash will reprise his role as judge this year and gossip is that Placido invited Jose Carreras to be a judge so Placido, Jose and Dimash could sing a trio as a recreation of the famous "Three Tenors" (Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras). Now that would be something, if the rumors are true! As yet there is no official announcement of his participation in the show except for an Instagram (? or Facebook) post from the Virtuosos team "we are waiting for you" to Dimash. Currently, Dimash will perform with Hauser (famous cellist and fellow Virtuosos judge) in Singapore for the Virtuosos concert with a few of the young winners of the Virtuosos competition on Oct 21, 2024. Dimash is known as having one of the most beautiful voices in the world according to many world class composers and obviously Placido thinks so too. Placido sort of ambushed Dimash when they first met and insisted they sing a duet together and immediately hurried the two of them to a rehearsal with the orchestra conductor to plan their duet. I don't think Dimash had plans to sing at all (especially suffering with a cold at the time). 🤣 FYI, Dimash has not participated in a vocal competition since 2017 except for one time in the USA in 2019 (bad experience) which led to his forming his own film production company and recording studio that his father runs and which handles all his MVs and song releases. He often appears at competitions as a judge and/or special guest performer. Dimash is living proof that you do not need to sign a major recording contract with anyone to succeed doing what you love as he continues to sell out his concerts worldwide to thousands of fans. Next concerts are in Dusseldorf and Prague in November which will have Dears flying in from countries all over the world to attend (as usual). 😆

He helped me through and on the other side. His voice was a healing factor to my ailing body. I know it’s strange to say this but it’s true. He dipoesnt know I exist but I’m well now. He doesn’t just sing songs or melodies he sings masterpieces, each one. He practices with or with out a vocal coach.

Hi. Someone already gave you quite a lot of Dimash songs. They are all A1 and beyond. Try "SOS"; "Stranger"; "Sinful Passion"; "Olympic" "Ogni Pietra"; Then do "When I've Got You" "Hello" Last but not least, after doing the above, to then give you the gist of the person Dimash and his historical background do "The Story of One Sky" and "War and Peace". Follow that up with "Samaltau". A great and definitely worthy reaction. Thank you so much. You will soon, if not already, become a Dear. Welcome to the Dimash World.
