No doubt you have probably hard "Sorry Sorry" before and may not have even realized it at the time. It's almost impossible to be a fan of Kpop and not know Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" LOL. This is one of THE MOST iconic Kpop songs and choreo of all time. "Sorry Sorry" came out in 2009 and it is what shot Super Junior into intentional superstardom. EVERY single person and their grandparents in Korea knows this song and can dance the dance. "Sorry Sorry" is the one song that everyone in the industry knows and is practically required to perform at least once in their careers. At their peak Super Junior was a 13 member group + 2 members who were exclusively part of Super Junior-M = 15 members in total. There are 13 members in "Sorry Sorry" -- I think this might be the last MV where we see all 13 of the original members together in one MV. (Kibum and Hangeng officially left the group in 2010.) From here on out, SuJu spends almost 9 years where they are missing at least one member as they all take their leave to serve in the military, or because of other issues. The members started going off to the military in 2009/2010 and the last member was discharged in 2018. "Sorry Sorry" is so well known and so iconic that it is the most well known Kpop song around the world, and when it came out it became an international trend. Groups of people were getting together in 2009/2010 and learning this dance and song and posting it all over the internet. The song was so big that even an entire prison population in the Philippines learned this dance and performed it. You can find thousands of clips of groups of people from all around the world performing this song, and even grandmothers have formed dance teams and aerobics workout classes around this song and choreo. You can also find clips of pretty much any Kpop group or artist performing a cover of this song and dance as part of their standard rookie debut, and I literally mean EVERY Kpop artist and entertainer. As you might have noticed, Super Junior is known for their vocals and for their dancing. As an SM Entertainment group it's really no surprise that the members are all amazing vocalists and dancers because that's just a fact about the type of people that SM selects to be a part of its company. SM has become known for its amazing vocalists and dancers and that is why it's one of the largest and most influential entertainment companies in Korea and around the world. Super Junior has 3 main/lead rappers -- Eunhyuk, Shindong and Heechul -- but they are all amazing singers as well. SJ's rappers are such good singers that they have even been known to fill in for the main signers on occasion. But, the more you follow SM Entertainment groups, you will soon discover that all of SM's rappers were actually chosen to become trainees for their vocal and/or dancing skills. The majority of SM's rappers learned to rap, or at least became good at it, after they joined the company. Therefore, all of SM's artists are amazing vocalists -- being great rappers is just a bonus. Super Junior debuted Nov. 6, 2005, so this year is their 19th anniversary and they are all still very much active in all aspects of the industry.They currently have 12 full length albums and several repackaged albums, as well as a multitude of mini albums. Plus, they have 6 sub-units -- Super Junior-K.R.Y. (made up of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- SJ's main vocalists), Super Junior-D & E (made up of Donghae and Eunhyuk), Super Junior-T (Trot -- which is like a cross between the equivalent of western old-style country music and cabaret music. It's older-style Korean pop music that's all about being kind of cheesy, fun and over the top.), Super Junior-M (Mandarin Chinese), Super Junior-H (Happy) and Super Junior-L.S.S (made up of Leeteuk, Shindong and Siwon). And they now have 9 active members (12 members all together), and most of them also have solo tracks and albums. So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. Super Junior was the first group to ever hold 100 concerts back in 2014, and there have been dozens more since then. So, I don't think you will run out of Super Junior things to watch for a very long time. LOL Super Junior are one of the Godfather's of Kpop and they have always been ahead of their time. They have such a wide range of songs and styles that they appeal to almost everyone, you just have to find your jam. When "Sorry Sorry" came out no one was doing what Super Junior was doing and the sound and style of the music was so new and trendy that it caught on like wildfire. And that's pretty much what Super Junior has been doing ever since. For many years Super Junior even had their own record label -- Label SJ -- which was under SM Entertainment, but also more independent, so they were able to collaborate with other Kpop artists outside of SM and even non-Kpop artists such as Latin artists like Reik and Leslie Grace. The members currently range in age from 41-35.(During "Sorry Sorry" they were 26-21) That's why they have a more mature and classy look and feel to their most recent MVs and songs and that's why you often see them dressed in suites. They are all men, not boys. LOL But as you will soon discover, they are one of the most unique groups when it comes to the dynamics of the members personalities -- they truly are fun, crazy, over the top and aren't afraid to just let their freak flag fly when they interact with each other. They truly are a group of brothers that have been together for so many years that nothing is off limits and they don't hide their true selves from the cameras. LOL Super Junior are known for their story based MVs, their catchy choreography and their goofy fun concepts. Some of their other songs you should check out are "Danger" by Super Junior-D&E; "Black Suit" and "Devil" by Super Junior; and Super Junior-M's "Swing". (Super Junior-M is Super Junior's Mandarin sub-unit, so, if you react to them, maybe consider reacting to the Chinese/Mandarin versions of the songs because that's the original version. Fun fact: The whole reason why EXO and NCT have Chinese sub-units is because Super Junior pioneered the concept and became the very first Kpop group to actively promote in China.) SJ are legends in the industry and they have paved the way for almost everything you see in the Kpop industry today. They set the standard for how Kpop is promoted around the world. They are also the first group to have serious roles in all the other entertainment industries -- setting the standard on how a Kpop star branches out into all parts of the industry. They are not only singers and dancers but members are musicians, composers, songwriters, lyricists, music and video producers, TV and movie actors, stage actors, models, radio DJs/ hosts, variety show hosts/MCs, authors, etc. Pretty much anything we think of as a standard part of the Kpop industry was created because of them. They were the first Kpop group to have non-Korean members, the first group to have dedicated sub-units and the first Kpop group to have a sub-unit that focused on producing songs in Mandarin for the Chinese audience.

Oh this is the era when sm heavily start promoting exo as they just officially debut early same month this song was released. Tts is the first successful subunit in kpop history. It changed the way kpop company selecting and making their subunit. The funny thing is, tts project happen coz snsd was on hiatus at that time as each of members were busy (some were acting, radio dj, musical) so in order not to keep the fans waiting too long tiffany and taeyeon suggest for subunit with the member that free that mainly focus on vocal while waiting for their next come back. SuperM's entire concept and storyline is connected to EXO's storyline. The Kai and Baekhyun you see in SuperM are the same characters from EXO's storyline. SuperM is like another chapter in EXO's story. As you can see, SuperM features 7 of the best of the best when it comes to dance, vocals, rap and performance in Kpop. The members of SuperM are some of the top artists from SM Entertainment's most popular groups. Baekhyun (with the pink hair), who is one of the best vocalist in the industry, and Kai, who is one of the top 2 dancers in the industry, are from EXO; Taemin is the other top dancer, with one of the most well respected solo careers, and he is a member of the legendary group SHINee; Taeyong is the leader of NCT, and he is a main rapper and dancer, and Mark is the main rapper and dancer from NCT-U/NCT-127; Ten is the main dancer and lead vocalist of NCT-U/WayV; and Lucas is a former rapper and visual of NCT-U/WayV, who is now an SM solo artist. In several of EXO's MVs, it looks as though the EXO members may be trapped within a maze or labyrinth by the Red Force (the evil being or group within EXO's storyline who are destroying Earth and controlling humanity) and they are unable to break free. However, in many of EXO's MVs it looks as though Baekhyun has been able to avoid the Red Force's control. And in EXO's "For Life" MV we see Kai get in a car and drive away from the building, which we think is the bar that we see the EXO members hanging out in in EXO's "Sing For You" MV. The building is where we think the EXO members are currently trapped. Because Kai's superpower is teleportation, we think he may have been able to get away or escape as well. Therefore, I think Kai and Baekhyun are recruiting members of SM's other groups to help them defeat the Red Force and rescue the members of EXO who are still trapped. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop the Red Force from corrupting and taking over the world, etc. The concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group. Just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup, SuperM has a similar storyline. Therefore, I think the concept of SuperM all stems from EXO's concept and storyline. From day one, EXO's story has been that as aliens from Planet Exo, each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them, and they were all sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, we see Kai teleport at the beginning of "Jopping" and we see Baekhyun using his power to control light as the car speeds away, etc. However, the concept of superpowers is new for all the other SuperM members. (You will see the other member's special powers and abilities if you check out all of SuperM's teaser trailer videos, which were originally released leading up to the release of their debut.) Just like the Marvel Avengers members each have their own superhero story, when they come together to form the Avengers, they combine their stories and concepts and weave elements of each of the members' backstories into the Avengers storyline. I think SuperM is doing the same thing. And, like the Marvel Avengers who come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight the evil villain Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's story. SuperM is taking members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. Similar to how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of the company's groups' members will eventually be brought into the conflict. And although NCT and SHINee don't have a backstory that has anything to do with being superheroes in the same way as EXO does, I find it interesting that, for example, NCT and WayV have songs called "Superhuman" and "Take Off," which both have sort of superhero type themes in their MVs; and one of Ten's solo singles is called "New Heroes". With what I know about SM, it wouldn't surprise me that this is something they have had in the works for a really long time and they probably have been creating ways to foreshadow things to come in SuperM that connect SuperM's story to each of the members' original groups. One thing SM has mastered since the creation of EXO, is how to tell a story and how to create a mystery that connects even the most minute of details together to build an epic adventure for fans. SuperM's storyline is already connected to EXO's storyline, and I think SM may be working on expanding the story to its other groups, in the same way that "the Avengers" connects all the individual superheroes' stories when they come together to form the Avengers. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with their MV for "Moonwalk" and I think the story in their "Moonwalk" MV is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" and "Kick Back" MVs are also part of that story. There are parts of several of WayV's MVs where it looks as though Ten and Lucas are there to gather their members to bring them into the battle, and in "Turn Back Time" it looks like the WayV members are all beat up like they have been in a fight, which means they could have been in a battle with the Red Force, etc. In other words, I think EXO are working with the SuperM members to try and stop X-EXO. If you pay attention to what Kai and Baekhyun are wearing in "Jopping," their outfits are very similar to the all-black outfits they are wearing in EXO's "Obsession " MV -- Kai even wears the same parachute backpack in both MVs -- which seems to indicate then that the version of Kai and Baekhyun in SuperM are the EXO members who are the good guys. Because in "Obsession" the members in all black are supposed to be EXO and the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup are the X-EXO clones who have been created by the Red Force. So, on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen., the members actually are around the same age as the members of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. And now I see connections being made with SHINee's "Don't Call Me" and "Atlantis" MVs, and even their new "Hard" MV storyline, as well as all of aespa's MVs and many of NCT's MVs -- most of WayV's MVs and even NCT-127's "Save" MV, etc.-- and now I think it even extends to SM's older groups, such as Kangta's "Free To Fly" MV, Super Junior's "House Party" MV, Max Changmin from TVXQ's solo "Devil" MV and U-Know from TVXQ's new solo "Nexus, Reality Show" trailer video, etc. It's becoming clear that SM is designing the SM Universe to include all of its groups and it is tying all of their storylines together. For instance, if you watch SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV you will see the SHINee members at one point go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all standing together in all black outfits. That scene looks very similar to the scene in "Jopping" when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of the MV as they are teleported or travel through the wormhole. So, it looks like maybe SHINee are preparing to eventually join in the fight as well.

To understand the story and concept behind "Jopping" and to get to know the SuperM members better, you should watch the behind the scenes/making of video called "SuperM: The Story of Jopping." It's an official video on SuperM's KZbin channel. It's one of the best behind the scenes Kpop MV shooting videos I have watched and it really helps to explain the concept and story behind the song and the group. It's well worth the 30-plus minute video. Please check it out, even if you don't react to it. :D SuperM was created by SM Entertainment in collaboration with Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California. The group debuted in the U.S. in October 2019, so that is why all of their main track songs are mostly in English, because, as their debut song, "Jopping" was meant to be their foyer into the U.S. music market, and all their other songs are supposed to build on that. And as "the Avengers of Kpop," SM even collaborated with Marvel to create merchandise for SuperM's second album in 2020. If you follow EXO's concept and storyline even a little, you know that SM doesn't do anything halfway. When they come up with a concept for a group they go all in and even the most minute details are used to tell that story. SuperM is specifically designed to try to help SM grab even more of the U.S. market. That is why their debut and all of their promotions were focused in the U.S. If you notice, SuperM starts with S and ends with M -- SM. The stadium/coliseum scenes in "Jopping" were all filmed in Korea on a soundstage. But, you're right, all the outdoor scenes were filmed in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. So, the desert and that cityscape were in Dubai -- it was all filmed live on location. And all those vehicles you see in the MV are real vehicles. Kai rode in the helicopter and Ten and Lucas filmed on that tank, etc. The scenes where you saw them driving the vehicles were in Dubai. They were driven by stuntmen, but they were all real working vehicles. SuperM is so multi-talented, with some of the most influential idols in the industry, representing multiple nationalities and Kpop generations, who are poised to take over the world. As you may know, Mark is Korean-Canadian, so his native language is English. And WayV is the Chinese/global sub-unit of NCT, so not only does Ten and Lucas speak Korean and English, but they also speak Mandarin. Ten also speaks Thai because he is from Thailand and Lucas speaks Cantonese because he is from Hong Kong and a little Thai because his mom is Thai. And although Baekhyun, Kai, Taemin and Taeyong are all native Korean, they also speak many other languages. For example, Taemin and his group SHINee are very popular in Japan, so he is fluent in Japanese as well. Baekhyun is the leader and the oldest member who is currently 32. Mark is the youngest at 25. However, Taemin is the one with the most seniority in the group. Taemin is only a year younger than Baekhyun and only 6 months older than Kai, but he debuted 4-10 years before any of the other members of SuperM. Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 when he was 14 years old, so he is a super senior member of the group. In other words, as part of the hierarchy of respect, Taemin is the one everyone looks up to. Which might be why Taemin was chosen to play such a major role within the group's storyline, and why we have seen him prominently featured in almost everything to do with SuperM. Just wait until you see them perform live at their debut concert at Capitol Records in California, you will be even more blown away. There are no "main" positions in SuperM because they are all the "main" positions in EXO, SHINee, NCT or WayV. That is one of the reasons why they were selected to become members of SuperM. SuperM is designed to showcase Kpop's top talent and to introduce Kpop to the mainstream public. SM's goal is to use SuperM to appeal to more than just Kpop fans.

It's not just Jay and Jake... Heeseung is also VERY good at speaking English.

Loser is one of the most deepest songs in K-Pop. And BIGBANG makes all of their music themselves and every member kind of shares their own story. The first guy, G-Dragon (who's walking alone on the road), talks about the harsh reality of being a celebrity. He talks about being alone, even though he has everything one could ask for and he feels like no one actually cares for him, other than his celebrity. The second guy, Taeyang (with the red jacket), has faith issues in his life. He talks about finding meaning and purpose and some help in his life ("| extend my hand but no one grabs it"). In the end, he loses his battle with religion and commits suicide, by jumping off the building. The third guy, Seungri (the one with the blonde hair), desperately likes a girl (either it's his ex or someone he knew), but she completely ignores him while he sees her walking with another guy. He lashes out in anger and frustration, throwing and breaking stuff in his home. In the end, he confronts the girl, but she rejects him completely. The fourth guy, T.O.P (the one having an affair with the woman) is shown to be a womanizer and is obsessed by his materialistic possessions. He views women only as a source of pleasure ("love them for one night... ") and hates himself for this addiction. When the woman starts to touch his precious possessions, he loses control and then starts to hurt her. He is then shown walking alone in an alley covered in dry blood (he killed her). In the end, he realizes what he's actually done and he falls to the ground with remorse. The fifth guy, Daesung (the one getting his ass beaten) is shown to be someone who's bullied alot, to the point where his confidence has completely shattered and he's even scared of showing his eyes to people. He is shown standing in front of the mirror and crying and feeling pathetic. In the end, he tries to confront the bullies as a last attempt to stand up for himself, but gets beaten yet again and is dragged and left for good on the road. So many people relate to this song in their own ways and that's what makes this piece so special.

So, with that being said, I attempted to watch i-Land and stoped once Geonu was eliminated. I just couldn't thing of seeing the faces of the other I already loved. Its big and little confusing at first, but you understand eventually. Also... some of the guys from the show I-Land went into OTHER groups. Four are in &TEAM, for example, two are in Just B, one is in Tempest and not sure about others.

This mv and song style are just so 1999, I love it. It's one of my faves from EN- for sure. BTW, all EN- MV/songs ARE story-line in one way or another, even if they may not seem like it.

Terry is the abs of the group... LOL! they purposely show his, but our baby Kai (blue hair/not a minor) is not ok with his skin showing. I still remember his sisters reaction to him showing off his shoulder in the Sugar Rush Ride MV, it was funny how she got all disturbed by it.

LOL! It's bright... until you read into the meanings. TXT does not have a single sikip song in my world. So, not sure about how much you know, just found y'all, but BTS mostly writes and produces their own stuff with VERY little help from others. TXT has a story-line that is very difficult to follow and their stuff is written and produced mainly by others. Not saying the boys don't help, they do, just not much... same with Enhypen and &TEAM... because of story-lines its mostly others who put their foot into their music. However, like with BTS, most songs that seems like a LOVE song is... for their fans. ARMY, MOA, ENGENE/Sooha/Chloe (stoey-line) and LUNE/Sooha (stoery-line w/EN-) are the fans. The MV overall is rather seen as "americanized" ig. I do get that, other than that ? The dance ? Nothing crazy groups like KISS OF LIFE, (G)I-DLE, LSFM, etc.. already had/have more twerking, moving hips elements. Concept wise : Sexy concepts were much heavier and were much more used in other kpop songs. This is nothing crazy. It was rather criticized for being "girl - centric" Overall this just proves that you are rather new to kpop. There literally were some groups with heavy sexy concepts. Examples being : SISTAR, AOA, Brown Eyed Girls, Girl's Day, Miss A, etc.. especially HELLOVENUS. Many groups have had sexy and/or sensual songs either lyrics wise or choreo wise or both. The sexy concepts are really used in both ggs and bgs. I mainly mentioned ggs, as we are talking about a female idol Jennie.

Kai is known as Asia's first love(i recently came to know about it bcz of Jaejoong ex tvxq member and i googled it😁) and even haters Accept that Kai's aura and energy is unmatchable. When they compare Exo they always say Exclude Kai😂The reason why he is the Center is His Insane Aura and stage presence. They way he hypnotizes people. Although Taemin and Kai both are insane whose artistry and performance level is what nobody is able to touch yet. And then there is Ten. Literally SM's dance trinity. They are not just dancers.
