This looks amazing. Is the white mixed with resin? Im messing up my waves and dont know why

Do you try to make the white pigment in resin less dense than the ocean wave so it doesn’t sink or ??

Thankyou. I used to resin moulds n so a few 50cm rounds. Haven't done it for 6 years and my expensive unused bottles have gone yellow but too reluctant to throw so I grabbed a kmart kit to do with a client as I'm a disability support worker. Thought I best watch a quick bid to see the time test before it starts to become too thick to use. Yea it's not a great product for safety details at all. They really could be in strife for that if reported. Any too.. It does look very clear but I wonder if it eventually yellows a tad over time? Let me know. I'm gonna give it a go with client today. I must say I'm a tad nervous as iv not done resin with anyone with no experience at all before n wish me luck. Iv all the safety gear n it'll be set up outside ( hoping not too windy). Il do the main pouring I think but might get client to pour the opposite end of tray mould and put her decorative touch in. Good video. Cheers from Lisa in Perth West Aust

Great work! How did you get it to foam, mine gets too hot and can turn grey.

Thanks so much for your advice about the type of gloves, respirator and how to clean up if you get any on your skin. A bit of a worry that these hazards and warnings aren't on the packaging

This turned out really pretty. I have a couple of questions. I have a heat tool like yours and I'm so afraid to burn the resin. Is there a trick to not burn it? Also, do you know if there is food safe resin for cutting boards?

Ya theres food safe resins

I'm incredibly impressed. I want to try doing this. I'm in love with this effect. It's the hand of a master. I see the video is old, but maybe someone can tell me exactly which colors were used here. It means a lot to me because I want to try my hand at it. Please let me know what colors these are.

Hello, what I want to ask is what kind of white paint you use? Is it opaque paint, which is special for epoxy? And do we mix the white paint with epoxy and apply it with a spoon?

How long do you give it between pours. It mentions '24 minutes later', however, just resin , it states, takes over 2 hours or so to cure??

Nice work though
@rkillian72335 ай бұрын
how long does your resin take to set? It looks like only half an hour. I use a type that takes 6 hours to set, 24 to dry.

As many others have said I am in awe of your beautiful waves, the absolute best I've ever seen! Can you please tell me which brand of white pigment paste you are using as after almost 3 years of trying to master the art of ocean waves I am now going to purchase the exact same products you use to see if that helps me. I am so inspired by you that I wish I could get mixing right now.....Thank you 😊

Hello 1 to make a foam wave effect in my resin does titanium white work? 2 - how can I make a "dam" on my canvas to separate 2 areas of resin of different colors? Thank you for your answers
