I'm happy to be able to hear my beloved Jim's singing voice in his later years. I still have fond memories of shaking hands with Jim and Gary when they came to Japan in 1973.

Grew up in Big Bear during the 50s through early 70s. Was hoping for history of what I knew to be the "Zebra Room", South shore. a long abandoned night life location.

Although I believe Jeff Bergman is the best after Mel Blanc, its kinda sad Noel Blanc wasn't the one to continue voice Mel Blanc's characters considering its seems that's what Mel was hoping for.

Noel is good but not as in the same category as Mel

Great series about Big Bear history! I guess my old Grandpa was right when he told me.....son, eventually....everything burns to the ground.

I had just stumbled upon a 1956 High School yearbook and saw the last name "Blanc". I said to myself "I wonder if he's related". With a little checking and research, I found that he was. In his same yearbook was another familiar name in a play (Arsenic And Old Lace) that Noel was in there, Allan Jones Jr.. I guess you know who he turned out to be by now.

The guys sound great and very tight professionally. Jim Pike had an amazing head voice. Gary and Ric are also as smooth as silk. The three of them really made this music happen. Thanks for sharing this.

I wish Noel voiced some of Mel's characters since he trained him throughout his life and he kind of let his father down.
