I agree that every crumb needs to be GONE! When I see a trail of ants going to a crumb, my first thought is, "Well, there's my second-string clean-up crew!" Cheers!

My cousin went to the psychiatrist because he was terrified of the ghosts in the attic. Turns out it was rats "true story". And the idiot cousin is still a big believer in ghosts and everything miraculous.

Great video and very nice examples on rodent entry points. We use Peak Protector instead of the copper wool, works great for keeping animals from entering this style roof vent. peakprotector.com/

It's started out of no where. We've been in this house for ten years for the last 3 to 4 weeks I've been hearing banging and scratching, almost like the sound of a bucket dropping on the roof. I am the only one that hears it I'm so scared. I dont hear any foot steps though. The scratching is not loud and happens less than the bangs do.

Rats are certainly humanity's major animal parasite, and annually destroy one fifth of the world's human food production. My new Kindle e-book titled 'The Diary of a Professional Rat-Catcher, 2015 - 2018', gives insight into their habits and how to control rats, using traps and poison. If everyone maintained just one active rat trap in or around their home, that would cut the rat problem down by 60%. My book is available only from amazon.com, and is only $5.99. You did not say anything about opossums? This would have been helpful if you actually had examples of what they sound like. You cannot be everywhere, you are probably only in one city or who knows but, you could be more helpful by providing some advice on how to get rid of these pest the humane way. I have humane traps but, I cannot figure out whether it is an opossum or a rat. I have caught opossums before and this one looks like a baby opossum but, scampers around like a rat. At night

Our community has zero rats/mice. Our problem is Water Bugs. Would the foam/rubber stop them? (I need to purchase) do the job? cheaper than concrete? or should I just go with concrete and then paint over the concrete with a similar color of clay tile. Thanks. I'm in California, otherwise I'd hire you.

Why copper, because it doesn't rust? I have a ridge vent. Will rodents pull up the shingle to get in, and would roof sealant help glue down shingles so rodents wouldn't get in?

My friend and their mother told me that they keep hearing rats behind the kitchen stove through the wall that leads to the pantry. They said this morning that last night just before bed they heard the rats making a very strange high pitched no I she. In between a squealing and a baby wailing/screaming.Would you know what that noise would be?

Rats will eat roaches. I had a couple of rats, and I threw a big roach in with them just to see what would happen. They fought over it immediately! They ate the whole thing, even the legs!
