I always mix it with long chopsticks. So much easier to wash afterwards.

Does salt inhibit the growth of the yeast? I combine water with yeast and add a very small amount of sugar or honey for the yeast to 'eat'.

Excellent. Tried it the other day and it was wonderful. Unfortunately I started mid-day so I ended up gorging myself on delicious bread and butter right before bed!

Merci beaucoup!!! Tres bon, tres bon!! I made this receipe this morning for the first time, and I mean making baguettes or bread of any description for the first time. This recipe is so simple and so delciious that it makes you feel like a seasoned french baker.

Good bread. Made 1/2 the quantity and got 2 big loaves. Great recipe. Thanks.

I have seen so many videos about baking bread. I can't eat the crap from the supermarket anymore. Either the bread is full of oil or it is dry and rock solid. It is the time that makes the difference. And the customer doesn't pay for the time, and therefore the inedible bread in the shops. If I remember correctly, the last time I enjoyed bread was twenty years ago. I guess I've been eating it for the last twenty years because you have to eat. Thanks, I just learned something enlightening from your great video. Nature needs time to develop its power.

If I make just 2 loaves instead of the 4 do I have to cook for longer or not ?

This is amazing. I just tried this out. However, my dough ended up being really sticky, maybe a little too sticky. The bottom cooked really well but the top of the bread was still looking like it wasn't cooked. How do I fix this issue??

I'm surprised none of the people moaning about the 'time' in the description of the video have added the 25 minutes baking time into their argument. This recipe is the best one that I've come across, so little work and no kneading. BRILLIANT!
