I always noticed a lot of the old-school FPV pilots doing that juke-and-jive thing where they never hold a single attitude for more than a moment. My theory is that they developed that habit to fly around the bad flight characteristics of quads from the olden days (like Betaflight 3.5 and earlier). But it's 2024 and we don't need to do that anymore. I love a nice long straight line right on the deck before a sudden move.

Thanks about explaining expo. It should be great for beginner because hardest thing is tiny stick movements. So setting Expo at 0.5 for all axis would be acceptable?

As for the pitch of those new ultralight props, I bet if they are lighter it's because they are thinner and more flexible, it's possible they actually flatten in flight and become less pitchy than the 1210's. On another note I recently went back to flying 1210s after using the 1219s for a while and I've got to say I much prefer how the 1210s fly after a few days dialing them in again.

Box goggles are definitely cause of your eyestrain. I fly on a monitor most of the time ever since my fatsharks got fried. Whenever I do use the old box goggles I have, I take my contacts out to mitigate the eyestrain.

I don't want to learn any serious video editing software and most of the companies that make more professional stuff just don't want to support linux, so I use two of the simplest options that are open source - Kdenlive and Shotcut. They are simple, they work on all platforms, and I personally never needed anything that they couldn't do, so if anyone is looking for options, at least give them a try, it's free.
