The 'Talisman' pas de deux was created by Pytr Gusev in 1955. The pdd is from the Talisman ballet. I couldn't place the two dancers tho. Anyway, Vorontsova's graceful and beautiful and has bright smiles ❤❤❤. Principal dancer 'Tchetverikov' is wonderful, he moves smoothly and he does impressive lifts ❤❤❤. Imo the choreo is sometimes too conventional! It is a fascinating music.and set-design. Would like to have the story.

This is such rarely performed ballet and music of Drigo is wonderful Thank you! I noticed one thing, the male variation of Pugni (the same music as Taor's variation from Pharaoh's Daughter) is not here, is it because you were trying to reconstruct the original and that variation probably came later?

Just like with Talisman, I only seen a complete version once before; and in both cases I have enjoyed your versions more. You are very good at telling a story clearly, and the dancers are mostly excellent. I like this Drigo score better than the one for Talisman. Thank you for reconstructing these lesser known ballets. I see that you are in Japan.. what city is your theater in? Can't wait to watch more of your work.

I had seen a full-length Talisman once before, but this was MUCH better! I liked the choreography, sets, costumes, dancers, and pantomime. I thought the story was very clear. This reminded me most of Bayadere.. but also a bit, here and there, of Corsaire, Raymonda, La Source, Sylvia, (and even Lakme). I don't agree with the comment that this score was better than Delibes; but it worked well enough. Thank you so much for showing this production!

Bravo Alexander. I found your choreography for the Grand pas des Alouettes to be a little masterpiece. The grand adagio was particularly moving. Drigo pulled out all the stops on that music.

Fantastic music. Drigo's Italian heritage is always evident in his music, just as it was in Pugni's music. But in Les millions d'Arléquin Drigo 's Italian heritage shines through so very brightly! in my opinion he is the real master of ballet music!

Please Alexander where did you obtain the score? And is the decor from Petipa's productions?

I have waited, literally decades, to see a proper production of this ballet. Drigos score IMO surpasses Delibes. I only hope one day we get a recording of the music, because I have wanted it for so long!!!

Does anyone know how to find Harlequinade music? I can only find piano versions and I need an orchestra version
