Aloha. Thank you for your video tutorials. I have a problem with my '07 Nissan Forntier 4.0 V6. So I watched your videos about water pump removal, but I over-torqued the bolts to remove water pump and the mounting surface on the engine for the water pump cracked big time from where the bolts would have been. Now there're no holes, but cracked out ears for the casing to the time chain. Can the casing (or water pump mounting surface) be fixed at this point or do I need to get the whole assembly replaced? I rented a pulley puller from an autoparts store and regret using it since I only had 1 bolt to work with and I was not careful. I've tried looking online for videos and forums. No luck so far. Please advise.

Man is black trans fluid. That fluid should be changed many thousands of miles earlier. Since you only partially replace worn fluid this guy to change trans fluid again in 500 miles and again in another 500 miles to really dilute the worn trans fluid. Great way for early transmission failure. That is why I change my fluid every 25K since I cannot get half the fluid out with a ATF change.

You should go by capacity not the dipstick. It happens more often than you think where the dipsticks on same models are different lengths.

You saved me a fortune. Because of your video I figured out why car kept dying. I must have watched 25 videos, replaced high limit thing, replaced new fuel pump and still kept dying plus other items. You took me right to problem where it was not enough spark. Thank you for sharing your smarts.

Hi, I have a problem. My Nissan tida (Year 2009) AMT takes a long time to engage the D gear after a stop of 4-5 hours or an overnight. There is no sign of ATF leak, gear missing or any kind of sound from the Gear Box. For moving forward, either I have to keep engine in ideal RPM for 4-5 minutes before engaging D or after starting the engine, engage D and wait for 4-5 minutes. If I engage D earlier than that, the car will remain as if in N Gear. For the R gear no issues at all at any time. After the car has traveled around 1 to 2KMS, the problem completely goes away and if I shift back to N and back to D again, it will take only a 1 sec delay. To get the car moving quickly, I have to engage initially 2nd or 1st then 3rd gear finally D and drive it approximately 1KM before the D works. This problem did not come suddenly. It has been getting worse over the last 2 years, and initially it happened only after an overnight stop in cold season. Now it happens every morning or after a stop of 4-5 hours. The colder the engine is, the longer it takes to get D engaging. Kindly advise. Thank you

Hi. I seen your video of how to change transmission oil on 2008 Nissan Versa. I have a question please: After adding transmission oil 6.5 quarts, do I need to open the 19 mm pan bolt to drain the excess oil . Great video. Thank you

Great video bro! The only one in you tube that shows every little trick. I have the same car and after seeing this video, I think I can change mine too. Just a question: After pouring 6.5 quarts of oil did you open the 19 mm drain plug to drain out the excess oil? Thank you very much

This guy doesn't have a good understanding of how these 2 circuits work. He's wrong about the power feed to the ignition switch and how the relay works. He's right about everything else.

this is a simply theory of how ur rad fan works and even an high school student will understand it so i dont get it why u dont understand it
@bernardocisneros4402
@bernardocisneros4402 12 күн бұрын
This is not a true temperature sensor. It's a switch. There are 2 electrical circuits to this system: 1. The control circuit (pin 86) 2. The fan circuit (pin 30). Each of these electrical circuits is protected by different fuses. The control circuit is usually protected by a 15 Amp fuse while the fan circuit is usually protected by a 30 Amp fuse. He also made the mistake in showing the ignition switch in the "start" position. He really meant to show the ign switch in the "run" position.
@asianmechanicguy6483
@asianmechanicguy6483 12 күн бұрын
it doesnt matter if ect or switch what matters is they achieve same goal to connect a circuit on a especific temperature..this is a theory of how rad fan works it might differ on other cars but this is a simplest explanation of how this circuit works...if u want to had discussion on feel free to reach me out on my number on my latest videoi can prove to u my point of view

@asianmechanicguy6483 I understand your point of view. You want to make it as simple as possible so it's easier for most people to understand. I'm just adding what you left out so others with a more advanced understanding of electronics can understand.

you did not shoot any starting fluid into the top end to see if it would start and then die , if it was not getting fuel before you change the fuel pump... or check the fuel pressure valve on top of the engine.. or the fuel filter on the rail
@asianmechanicguy6483
@asianmechanicguy6483 15 күн бұрын
i prefer this approach because of the age of the car design of the car..if this is corolla i prefer to do the fuel pressure test ..so it depend on the car u working on
