Of course Ariana, Kelly, and J-Huds did it justice. However, the singer who did it the absolute MOST justice, from my point of view, is the late, great, talented, and angelic.....Christina Grimmie. Mariah may have the greatest range and runs, but took away from the power of the climax with the vocal showboating. Celine's power, pitch and delivery were perfection. In my opinion, nobody has ever done it better.

Aretha deeply had a soft spot for celine.. you can see it in all her interactions with celine.. they both have a huge amount of respect for each other and i think personally Aretha loved Celines voice.. ❤❤❤❤ and rightly so.

Wow! They ALL brought it! BUUUUUUUUT…heaven knows that Fantasia gave it up! She knows heartache (from what I have heard speak about) and it all came out of her during "I'm Here". From her expressions to the clasping together of her little hands…she owned that song. That young woman brought about goosebumps and tears like only one other singer. That says a lot!
