@ that lowers defense by 100. There should still be a good amount of defense with upgraded armor set being used.

@@Foxtrot11b I get that, which you did amazingly btw, but while having armor equipped, you should still have some defense. Just don’t see how it’s zero is all

@@ryanpidgeon3947 "Snake Sheriff spirit" when fully leveled up - Significantly increases Attack, but nullifies Defense. (takes away all your defense) doesnt matter how much def you have it will remove it completely

You'll be fine, dont give up. Don't do what I do here and limit your tools. Use the FAN, use rock solid, use the cheesiest builds available(spirit/stun builds). Don't make this fight any harder than it needs to be unless you want to do challenge runs lol

You got it brother I believe in you. He is definitely the hardest boss of the game so don't feel too bad. If nothing else try cheese builds. I cheesed him on my first play through. ALSO you can just go fight the final boss first and then come back for the true ending after. You don't have to beat ErLang first in order to fight wukong.

@@rukaz2437 If its your first playthrough level and skill points absolutely matter (in terms of how you spec your character). I was level 80 or so when i first beat erlang.

how come ? have you tried the easy method ? You dont have to fight him straight up, you can use the stun / spirit build or try to one shot him with clones

sorry no idea how fast i was going here. Everything was based on feel. I would recommend you not focus on the "speed" obviously dont go freaking 60miles in a parking lot but focus more on feedback you get from your bike. You should be able to feel how stable or unstable the bike is. If you push the lean angle/speed smoothly you should feel the rear or front giving out or having signs of giving out b4 it completely gives out. In regards to your lowside at 15mph.. Did it feel like the bike just fell over while you were turning ? If thats what it felt like then yeah you were going a bit too slow. OR did it feel like the rear tire slipped? Alot of things can cause the rear to give out.. old tires/psi/cold tires I am assuming you are on stock tires which is what I think caused your lowside at 15mph (its really not that fast). When i first took the z125 out to practice, the stock tires were sliding all over the place. I would suggest you invest in some better tires (they are not that expensive, its about $100-$150 for a set) The tires I use on my z125 are "kenda kd1" (track tires) be sure to warm up your tires properly b4 attempting any aggressive lean angles.

@@Foxtrot11b thanks! Yes I still have the stock IRC tires from 2018 so maybe that will make a big difference as well. I do think the bike felt almost like it just fell over when I lowsided but I also realized the psi I was using in my tires were like 20 psi. I put them to 25psi today and it felt a little better, but I still was not able to really get my knee down without the bike feeling as if it was ready to give out. I also have a 27 inch inseam so maybe me having shorter legs has something to do with it as well? Although I am hanging more than just one side of my butt cheek off the seat, i'm not sure if that is also why I lowsided or not

@@blakells764 Tires definitely make a huge difference. I run my tires at F19 R18 PSI (COLD) From experience its alot easier to get your knee down on the 125 as the bike is so much smaller. Make sure you exaggerate the position. its almost as if you are pushing the bike away from you when you are hanging off the bike. Again I would swap out the tires first. Set the proper PSI. When attempting to knee down start a decently wide circle and slowly increase the lean angle. When increasing the lean angle you have two options, either maintain the same size circle and increase speed OR make the circles smaller and maintain the speed. My buddy found it easier to go in ovals. I find it easier in a constant circle. You'll have to mess around a bit again its whatever is more comfortable for you.

hmm.. about 15mph when the circle is tightened up. 20mph when hes going super wide.

For crafting materials I just kept playing the game.. by NG+3 I had everything i needed for armor upgrades. Especially with the recent update you can just buy all the gold threads you need. If you are low on money use the EXP/MONEY farm in chapter 4 (jade pool shrine) for potions CONSOLE - Harvest from the field and harvest from the NPC that grows for you - Fast forward the clock/time on your console +20 mins - Repeat till you have all the mats you need for potions PC - Harvest from field and NPC every 20mins - Rinse and repeat every 20mins OR Use a mod and spawn yourself the mats/potions. potions dont make or break any builds to be honest. The duration the buffs stay active is at most 30secs its really not that significant. Unless you're at the stage of the game where you want to Min Max every second of the fight.

He's a fun fight for sure. Cheese tactics don't really work that after NG+5. Rock solid works great on him as well. Beating him straight up is more satisfying for me. Once you figure out which attacks you should dodge and which attacks you should see through it becomes alot easier.

😁 I would at least go to NG++, the game is alot easier. And mess around with the wukong stance in NG++

3:27 - that attack from him is a grab attack thats triggered from you constantly hitting his guard. It doesn't deal damage to the player only a cutscene and creates distance.

😅 i lost count how many times i fought him. for sure more than 100 times LOL

@@Foxtrot11b I did NG+5 No dmg Great Sage but Erlang I failed no dmg, almost got it in NG+5. Guess I will do it in NG+6 in freetime

@@Keito-san oh no, sorry to hear that. Keep at it you'll get it! A trick you can do if you want to keep fighting Er Lang is you can exit out of battle mode in the titan fight. You can travel back to the mountain where er lang is and fight him again as long as you dont finish the fight with the 4 heavenly kings. Or alternatively just use a backed up save file.

Oh no, if you get the opportunity to play I would highly recommend it. You should check out the final boss fight as well, it's the flashiest fight of the game imo

@@Foxtrot11b Already playing it :) Have you tried other bosses no-hit challenge? If so, what bosses do you reckon is the hardest to no-hit without using spells etc?

@@ayuumi220 I have tried the no hit challenge with other bosses. Er lang is definitely the most difficult, next would be Wukong. The other bosses are not as fun. Most other bosses stagger too easily or die too fast

@@Foxtrot11b Do you think NG+6 (or higher) lv1 wep/gear, no gourd/heal, no spirit, no vessel, and NO spells/abilities (spell binder too) is possible against Erlang, or Wukong, for that matter? I've only tried against Yin Tiger, and he was ridiculously hard. probably died 1000+ times before I got a perfect run. now I want a new challenge :p Thanks for replies btw

@@ayuumi220 In terms scaling the enemies don't get more HP or deal more dmg after NG+6 It is very much possible but it will take FOREVER to kill them LOL and everything they do will almost 1 or 2 shot you if you're using the Yaksha set.

Oh, Every playthrough you can increase the curious slots by 1. You have to challenge the Yin Tiger and he will give you another slot

It's actually not that bad. Everything after NG+6 is the same. The game doesnt scale up after NG+6

@@Foxtrot11b whats the point and secret benefits after ng+1? i just beat the game and this boss (with a cheese build requiring qi and spam fan) but i wanna do everything i can before i start ng+1

@emillic7976 secret is completing the game 3 times doing the true ending. So you can unlock all the relics and unlock the wukong stance. Honestly not worth. Outside of that there really is no point. However it is pretty fun playing in ng+1,2,3. As you are pretty overpowered with all your skills and stats

@@Foxtrot11b ive heard alot about the wukong stance and i couldnt believe it actually requires a 4rd playthrough but how is it not worth it? and how does unlocking it work? do u just get it when u start ng+++?

@emillic7976 so once you've collected all the relics (18). When using wukongs armor and staff. If you do a 5 focus heavy attack you get to activate wukong stance (same stance you get to use at chapter 6) but you can now use it anywhere now. However you only get to use it for 1 min. Why I say it's not really worth it. By the time you get all the relics you'll be end of ng++ or start of ng+++ the enemies have scaled to a point where the wukong armor isn't really that affective. On top of that you are stuck in wukong stance and unable to stance swap. For me anyway it was a hindrance as I couldn't parry when I wanted to. Again it's a neat Easter egg. fun to use for sure.
