▬▬▬ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ▬▬▬ Greetings, from Castle Saint James ▬▬▬ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ▬▬▬ My sincerest thoughts of appreciation & gratitude are kindly offered for the delightful entertainment. I do have one question, though. Shouldn't the French language be our choice, for this French Heritage Society presentation? Carry on. Good day. ~James🛡

I've been watching Château Diaries for several years now. It's changed over time, but it's still entertaining and informing. It was during Château DIY when I was first introduced to Stephanie Jarvis and Château de Lalande. I'm eternally grateful to them for the countless hours of enjoyment I've received during a very difficult time and beyond. Isabelle and Percy, Nattie and Amaury, Annalise and Daniel Preston, Marie, Maria, Selmar, David, Philip, the Ians, Michael Petherick, Michael Potts, the Illusive Nick, Marie and Antoine, Kat and Hannie, Kirsty, Umbaline, Chantel and Steve, have all allowed us into their homes and their lives. Stephanie has been especially generous, lending her secrets to other would-be or current Châtelains. She's really turned lemons into lemonade with a plucky smile on her face the entire time. Bravo, Stephanie!👏

How about acknowledging and giving credit to the Strawbridges?? Living in the US, never would have heard of you or Lalande without Escape to the Chateau.

As ambassador of the young United States seeking independence, Benjamin Franklin signed the Treaty of Alliance, Amity and Commerce with France in 1778. France is our oldest and most durable ally. America might not have succeeded in her fight for independence without France, and France might not have survived the World Wars without the US. . Thanks to the French Heritage Society for helping preserve the monuments on both sides of the Atlantic that commemorate this history. And why not throw a party while you're at it?

Love the restoration especially mirrors aren't so deteriorated that they're unusable! So many restorations leave severely damaged mirrors that detract from any restoration work performed! ❤️🙏

Great organization. I think the total of grants made by French Heritage Society since its foundation has passed $30 million--mostly in France but some of it goes to Franco-American heritage in Saint Louis, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and so forth.

These people are WORKERS! Everyday while raising two children, they work! And hard! I hold such admiration for people who work and don’t play at restoration. They actually do it! More importantly, they show you what they are doing all through the process, not coming back months later and giving you short glimpses of what is sure to disappoint. You are in the dust and mess with them, along with the simply amazing “Before” and “Afters”. Easy to see why they have SO many Patreon’s and close to 400,000 Subscribers. At least there are 364,000 people who truly appreciate seeing hard workers and not fantasists in action. Bravo Anna and Peter. You have got this right!

It’s a shame they don’t have more subscribers, but there is always a reason for it. Look at How to Renovate a Chateau…similar ages, two children, alike in many ways but yet one channel has 364,000 subscribers and another 31,000 subscribers in the same amount of time on Utube. What is the difference? Both beautiful chateaus, precious children, dogs, what’s not to like? It’s something??? And considering the huge amount of Patreon money at stake, I’d try and figure it out. Best of luck to them, I hope they succeed.

To Marc & Amy, I like and admire the thought & planning you have & will put into the regeneration of the Estate you bought. So great to see land being used in (& more so in the future) in a regenerative manner. And the Chateau & other buildings being restored in sympathy with the character of the various buildings. And being aware & knowledgeable of the local climate & climate change, so utilising sustainable ways of working the land & fitting out the Chateau & other buildings. Warm greetings to Clement & Juliette. From Julie in Australia 🇦🇺

I wonder how you feel now that Ms Jarvis is getting 30k a month from Patreon yet still has to fix the heating (thereby compromising the fabric of the structure), has still to restore the chapel, has still to restore the crumbling terrace, replace the rotting windows. Yet she is buying chandeliers for £18k?
