I thought poly cures with a orange peel effect Yours seems flat ? Is that just because you use more poly per square foot ?

That stuff is like gold, too damn expensive to make anything you're not 100% sure of. The settling factor alone makes it a bad value compared to colors and inks. Wish that would change.

Dunno how Eco Prim Grip does, but I tried MBP. It's terrible, and doesn't work, at least for this application (of priming for paint). Wasn't able to get a smooth application and tried sanding it down, but as soon as I did, it started flaking/peeling off. (And yes, waited 48h to be safe, despite MBP only saying needing 1-3h).

You said two coats. Do you sand between? I just applied one layer and it appears a lot of the resin has drained out of the drain hole even though I applied tape. Thinking I should apply another layer in case the bowl is thin.

Hey Bronson, just came across your channel. Im new to epoxy countertops and really want the best finish minus yellowing. Im very interested in the polyaspartic coating as a top coat over epoxy. In your opinion, would this reduce yellowing in the epoxy? In my research it seems the polyaspartic is more durable, scratch resistant amd uv protection us unparalleled...also you can achieve the desired gloss finish..however, im curious as to why more people are not using this as a top coat! Whats your thoughts. Thanks bro, keep up the great work! New Subscriber! 👌👌👌

Can uou please explain how much of each part you used to make it get so hot ? And, what are the proper measurements you should have used fir this brand - I know how each resin requires a different amount. And, are the only side effects of having your resin heat up too fast the bubbles and discoloration ? I appreciate your help and advice as I'm wanting to start making resin projects and (of course) have never worked with any kind of resin before. Thank you for responding if you çan. 👍😍❣️😻
