So do you have it plugged in to the battery or the cars generator? also, it matters how many watts are you pulling from the inverter because it says 2000 W normally I think peak is 3000 which means a microwave pulls around 1500 W if you plug something else in there that top that 2000 mark is going to make the inverter shut off

back in the day you could sometimes install a 2nd alternator. be carefull with those output alternators, read specs, i think some don't put out as much power at idle or something or other

@ haven’t set it up really just tested a little bit with AC and a fan did not even put a load on it I will probably do some videos showing the load putting on it but it didn’t even budge the meter

I've been running the 1000 watt version of that inverter in my rig for about 8 months and am very happy with it. As an electrician, I would recommend a few modifications to your system. First... Isolate your house batteries from your start battery. That will protect your alternator and ensure you don't end up with a dead start battery...😮 If you don't have solar. Get some. For the size inverter you're running.I recommend 400 watts but 200 will do if you're driving alot. Get a dual input MPPT charge controller. That's one that'll charge your house battery from solar and your alternator. I'm running a Renogy MPPT charge controller that also charges the start battery from my solar when the house batteries are full. Last. If you're not running LIFEPO4 batteries. I recommend you upgrade that too. At least 400 amp hours worth for the loads you're running. Also, it's very important that you put approprately sized fuses on everything...

I'm homeless and i'm sleeping my truck. Will this work for a fifteen hundred watt heater from walmart? The inverter a car battery and the heater should all work fine ?

Do you ever need the sides to be higher? Eg for leaves, yard waste, gravel, tree branches etc...I would. We appreciate you getting right into the video w no small talk in the beginning. Great video.

When you describe it as being very cheap, it seems that the price right now is higher than many pure sine wave inverters on Amazon. What did you pay for yours?

Your wiring scares the heck outta my eyes...take some time and terminate those ends better, plug wire...NEVER saw that before 'think as extension cord', and cover terminals from accidential contact. GL

I'd recommend getting the Milwaukee Rapid Charger. It made a huge difference in my work van. As I'm driving from service call to call it charges my batteries in a fraction of time.

Your setup would of worked better with two agm deep cycle battery’s, had a similar setup running lamps small microwave and heater on house with no power,, ran jumper cables from my truck to the agms on the heavy load times.

Nah. If I can’t buy batteries for it in a gas station it’s useless for my needs. Including rechargeable.

I would suggest getting a breaker bar along with the 13/16" socket to remove and replace the lug nuts. I carry one in my car along with a 19mm socket in place of the cars OEM lug wrench.

I move the taillights up- cut the bracket off and weld it onto the top rail. Then they wont scrape. Had a very similar Tractor supply trailer. That mesh floor hurts if you fall on it.
