With ted Bundy on drums and Egon Spengler on bass. All joking aside the lead singer is an amazing artist. And that backup singer later became the lead singer for Manfred Mann's earth band. Noel Mccalla if anyone was wondering his name.

Without a doubt, the 70s had the best music of any generation!

The first time I heard this song was in the film Boogie Nights by Paul Thomas Anderson. The song was playing at a 1980 New Year's Eve party set in the heart of San Fernando Vally, California. It marks the whole turning point of the film. A point in the film where the protagonist Dirk Diggler has two choices, chat with the cute blonde by the pool or go to the bedroom and do drugs with the much older bad influence. Alas, he chose the latter cementing his spiraling downfall throughout the movie. Line after Line with the chorus of (DDRRIIVVEERSS SSEEAATT) echoing in the background. I wasn't born until 1986 but somehow this song and movie made me feel like I was in 1979/1980...Oh What A Time...

To be honest I thought this song was alot older than it is. I figured the way it sounds it was more early 70's than 1979. My bad, lol!

You ever enjoy these classic songs and wonder whatever happened to the band members? Like, I'd really like to know what happened to the goggle dude. Where did he end up, how did he make out in life, is he even still alive. Dude was cool AF, even by today's standards. The rest of the band as well, but goggle dude rocked it!
