Tua never ducked anyone. Neither Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Morrison, Foreman, Holmes, Mercer or Golota wanted anything to do with this Samoan warrior. All credit to Rahman for facing Tua twice and also to Lennox Lewis and Ike Ibeauchie for not avoiding him. Michael Moorer lasted 30 seconds against Tua and John Ruiz only made it to 15 seconds. When Tua went into 'seek and destroy' mode, there was simply no stopping him. I think his left hook was harder than Morrison's and Tyson's but hey I could be wrong. What I do know is that Tua was the best heavyweight of the mid 90s to mid 2000s who never won a world heavyweight title. What a shame!

I was a fan of both, never seen this one though for some reason, maybe I did in passing, but that WAS an early stoppage, Rahman was taking those punches well, ref messed up on this one

Sadly Tua couldnt maintain his ideal weight. He's so fat later on in his career , nowhere this fast. I know even Tyson got heavier at later stage of his career, but at least still looks in shape.

The last blow was absolutely illegal (John Ruiz was already down and without defensive guard) and could have been deadly. I'm sorry but Tua should have been disqualified and severely punished because he could have killed his rival defenseless.

I always wanted to see Ruiz, a notorious roughhousing, dirty fighting Neanderthal, get beaten up but good. Tua did just that. There are fighters who degenerated mentally after fighting Tua, such as Ibeabuchi and Byrd. I wouldn't be surprised that Ruiz has suffered the same fate.
